Surprised The World's End didn't make it on here. His buddy Edgar Wright might be a bit peeved. And Machete 2 for that matter...

Wild about Wilder -> RE: (7/10/2013 12:22:01 PM)

He really does like some old shite doesn't he! [:D]

HulkySmashSmash -> Why A Shock (7/10/2013 1:19:54 PM)

Why are some of his choices a shock? Just because he makes the amazingly well received films, doesn't mean he has to fart up a list of indie dramas.

The only film on that list that I didn't like was Kick-Ass 2. (Haven't seen Gravity or Drinking Buddies).

It's a well rounded list.

Sorry about that rogue THE.

I think you mean "Gravity is *less* of a shock."

3wonders -> (7/10/2013 4:40:52 PM)

Kick Ass 2 was bloody awful. Ruined the original.

Mosis1963 -> (7/10/2013 6:01:31 PM)

my neighbor's mother-in-law makes <$81> an hour on the laptop. She has been unemployed for seven months but last month her pay was <$15128> just working on the laptop for a few hours. have a peek at this website--- http://x.co/2V4dH

Why did Mr. Tarantino, who is still a terrific guy, liked both THE LONE RANGER and KICK-ASS 2, considering they were both disappointments with the critics and audiences? Maybe he had a few drinks before he did this list (just my guess). Anyway, the list is likely to change in December, so it should be interesting to see what comes up and what goes out.

nodierock -> (7/10/2013 7:31:36 PM)

At last a little respect for The Lone Ranger.... Its a bloody good film.

Gram Woods -> hmmmm (7/10/2013 9:18:05 PM)

Not sure about that list. This is the end was crap, I hate pandering to the American christian demographic and i didn't think that crew would do it. It was quite funny in parts but biblical bollocks overall. The worlds end was way better. A much fresher apocalyptic outcome, I thought so anyway. And gravity looks absolute pants! Though the Empire staff seem to be wanking over it in this months issue for some reason, CGI blindness perhaps? I won't judge till I see it but am not that convinced as yet

Theghostfrommars -> Awesome, _uckum I loved these list! (7/10/2013 10:26:21 PM)

Awesome choice's here, a mixed bag and I loved them all. Though I would add The last stand and Bullet to the head, both of which I enjoyed. I remember watching Blade runner, the Thing and Heavens gate in cinemas on my own, but have they stood the test of time, just as the above 10 will, all hail the chief.

It was amusing looking at Facebook last night on one of the sites devoted to him Pulp Fiction I think? people were asked "WHAT WERE THEIR FILMS OF 2013 SO FAR!" about 75% were coming up with Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, etc[sm=34.gif][sm=893banghead-thumb.gif]
Yanks gotta love em![:D]

kanada83 -> Kiss ass 2 (8/10/2013 2:41:24 PM)

i dont know whats more shocking the crap-ness that is KA2 or the fact hat its on QT's 2013 top 10 list.
This is the end was a step back for ed wright too.

ChelichanxD -> Odd... (8/10/2013 3:58:15 PM)

Kiss Ass 2? I mean, it wasn't the worst film of the year but definitely a disappointment. This is the End? I honestly would have never thought of these two. They are 'fun' movies but not in my top 10. Now I do agree with the Lone Ranger, I enjoyed it and believe it may have been overly criticised. Still, it's only October and so many more films are too come. It's a little early to be posting favourite films of 2013 though, I mean so many more films are coming in December?

Lucky he had nothing to do with it then...

oll -> Sooo (10/10/2013 1:01:30 AM)

I guess he wrote this list before he'd seen Rush and The World's End then...

Concise_Statement -> It figures that Tarantino is mainly concerned with exploitation films... (10/10/2013 3:10:53 AM)

...hence why so many of them made his list. Glad The World's End didn't make it on there. We can talk all day about the substance of the film, but it's just not funny enough.
