When the book first came out it was fresh, very funny and spoke to every teenage boy. Since then, however, the subject has been covered extensively in film and how this film adaptation will stand up against it's modern day successors is anyone's guess. I really want it to be good but I can't shake the feeling that it will actually be a disappointment.
