DextersLab -> Looks amazing (21/3/2013 10:16:49 PM)

Can't wait to see this, Cumberbatch definitely looks like he's bringing his A-game (along with everyone else to be fair) and completely stoked that this is out 2 months today. Get on JJ with your spacefaring Sci-fi goodness!

Norsedwarf -> Different ship (22/3/2013 9:17:59 AM)

You can more clearly see the ship crashing into the water is not the Enterprise by it's nacelles (stickey-outey-warp-engines). On the Enterprise they are far closer together, nearer the centre of the ship; whereas on the USS Crashey they are much further apart, out by the edges of the saucer section.

Dr Science -> The villain is a klingon (22/3/2013 9:58:50 AM)

I reckon John Harrison is a genetically-altered Klingon agent. The crime he mentions would be something to do with whatever the backstory is between Star Fleet and the Klingon Empire.

acertree -> Surprised if Cumberbatch isnt Khan (22/3/2013 11:23:29 AM)

Enjoying seeing Cumberbatch get stuck in to the action scenes. Loving him as a badass.

Norsedwarf -> Surprised if Cumberbatch is Khan (22/3/2013 11:35:20 AM)

I will be surprising if Cumberbatch IS Khan, I think it's more likely that he will be another eugenic-superman. That way they can do the Khan storyline without being compared to the original and without it being regarded as a remake. Much like the new movie franchise as a whole.

kevmccann -> Wow (22/3/2013 1:20:29 PM)

Anyone else cant get past page 15?

Not me - bet you it's certainly the most viewed page on Empire at the moment!

Rebelbumscum -> Theory (22/3/2013 3:10:33 PM)

I think Harrison is one of the eugenics or a human who was then enhanced for special operations, perhaps for a certain organisation called Section 31. Perhaps the crime caused by the commanders of starfleet is how they have stored/destroyed other eugenic subjects or embryos (ENT: Eugenics episode). Either way I think the film will end with Harrison possibly escaping or trying to find and contact Khan leading up to a possible Khan movie sequel.
Also I agree that the ship crashing into San Franisco is most likely another Constitution class vessel, perhaps the USS Constellation (a nod to its destruction in Doomsday Machine)

monodogg83 -> (22/3/2013 5:50:28 PM)

Cumberbatch looks like the only good thing about. We all know abrams only made these to get at somthing star warsy

jaymib -> (22/3/2013 9:11:59 PM)

After watching the new trailer, i think Harrison is in fact an Section 31 agent gone mad! *The bit in it when *Robocop Peter Weller (which is awesome, got that link to Enterprise series there* Admiarl says he was one of are top agents, its got to be some sort of section 31 stories. Think its a great idea, they decided not to go with something we know from the TOS, but instead carry on with something new.

Draven Cage -> (23/3/2013 12:18:15 AM)

I said this in the trailer article and I'll say it here; he's going to be Khan.

They've said his name is John Harrison, but not one single person in the trailer has said his name, even though Starfleet Command know who he is.

That, to me, screams that the name is a red-herring.

Squashed Frog -> (23/3/2013 9:12:52 AM)

The more I see the more I think it's khan- when they talk about the top star fleet agent causing the attacks that's Noel Clarke who does a deal with Harrison. Star fleets crimes against cumberbatch- letting his wife/ people die in exile on a planet- or using his eugenics enhanced people as super soldiers who are expendable. The other ship that empire are not aloud to discuss... The reliant

This would be a really geeky spot, but is his nose creased enough to be Bajoran? Looking at other photos of Benedict Cumberbatch he doesn't seem to have that double crease to his nose.

John Bryans Fontaine -> Benedict Cumberbatch might be part of Starfleet Black Ops Unit (24/3/2013 11:44:57 PM)

I wonder if Mr. Cumberbatch is a member of " officially-nonexistent clandestine organization within Starfleet Intelligence that claimed to protect the security interests of United Earth and later the United Federation of Planets. " called Section 31.

What if Scotland becomes independent in 2014? The Union Jack in the film will cease to apply
