musht -> (6/3/2013 6:53:00 PM)

Number 26 - Is he jumping on to that suit or in to it?

Mijacogeo -> Rescue? (6/3/2013 7:26:48 PM)

I'm wondering if Pepper is going to suit up with her Rescue suit? I mean, why is she randomly just in her underwear in what looks like a warzone (save the obvious eye candy, of course)? Ughhh, all of these shots look so depressing! I haven't actually watched the trailer itself (too scared) but I am really, really hoping that the Shane Black humour does shine through and it isn't too much of an arduous episode for poor old Tony.

MartinECoe -> New Suits (6/3/2013 7:29:41 PM)

Looking at no. 12 "the wine cellar" - I'd say these are all new suits in there. The one in the centre looks red and black and the one on the far right is red and white.

andytd -> new suits... (6/3/2013 10:42:04 PM)

no 12, the new suits in the cellar, the black and white one on the right, thats awfully like tonys space armour from the comics......

choochoonesme -> Pause moment 25 (7/3/2013 8:28:27 AM)

Looks like he's jumping in the suit, not on the suit. The back compartments appear to be open.

iain81 -> (7/3/2013 9:57:24 AM)

Sal Kennedy as president? He's the counterculture tubby lecturer from Tony's past. Odd...

iain81 -> (7/3/2013 9:58:53 AM)

Page 8 looks like Guy P...

Mr Grizzly -> Sell more toys? (7/3/2013 1:26:43 PM)

Is it just me or is the Iron Legion/multiple suits story just a thinly veiled attempt to sell more action figures?

christofurr -> Hmm (7/3/2013 4:14:32 PM)

6 people strapped in, and 7 suits - I wonder who's taking the commander position? Guy Pearce? I thought that long-haired chap looked rather like Mickey Rourke... did he die in the second film or not? (I think I've only seen it once) Maybe GP has drafted him in to lead his team?

mwb -> Number 11 (8/3/2013 4:10:19 AM)

Number 11 is not set in pakistan/afghanistan from the first movie. The memorials contain christian crosses and the wall on the right has ribbons of the american flag. Must be the site of another mandarin attack in the states surely? And the boy is dressed in westernised clothes.

Deckard** -> Suit occupant in image 1 spoiler (8/3/2013 11:42:20 AM)

The person in image one in the suit is not Stark but.....

Potts!

And previous shots of her in a metal shackle and now her underwear lend credibility to that she is injected with Extremis

Deckard** -> image 10 (8/3/2013 11:54:48 AM)

Is before the mansion destruction as Tony checks on Happy Hogan who the mandain has hurt, leading to Stark telling Mandarin to "bring it" which he does.....with missles

jaideco -> Actual sequence of events? (9/3/2013 1:59:53 PM)

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

Looking at the shots of the injuries to Tony's face gives some interesting clues to the sequence of events. Tony clearly sustains three different injuries at different times.

First, he injures his lip. That injury is seen as early as the scene in the observatory with the armour on the ground and in the press mob as he leaves the hospital.
Second, he injures his nose. This is seen gushing blood in the scene where the mansion is attacked, the scene where he collapses in the snow and also where Tony is in plain clothes and visiting the memorial at the site of the Mandarin's attack.
Finally, he injures his cheek and this injury can be seen in the scene with partial armour and the uzi, as well as in the attack on air force one and in the scene at the docks.

My guess is that Deckard is right. I suspect that the scenes we have seen where Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan is lying in a bloodied mess come in the first stage and it is he who Tony is talking about when he calls for revenge at the hospital press mob.

I also think that when Tony (in the Mk VIII armour) gets pulled to the bottom of the ocean, he goes into hiding and engages in stealth warfare until he finds the Mandarin or Killian in their secret headquarters. Then we have the escape with the uzi, saving air force one and a showdown at the docks.

By the way. Did anyone else see the shot where the fist of the Mk VIII armour punches through the side of air force one in an earlier trailer? There is a great moment in this trailer at 1:50 where Iron Man's arm is still half way through the frame of AF1 and he shoots down someone on board with his repulsor beam.

jaideco -> 20 (9/3/2013 2:47:06 PM)

The red headed woman in the cage at Killian's base is not Pepper. It's Bethany Cabe, played by Stephanie Szostak. According to the Wikipedia article on Cabe, she was Stark's head of security and a love interest. She was also one of the wearers of Tony's suits in the Iron legion plotline.

We also saw her for an instant in the very first trailer (at 1:07) where she grabs Tony and holds him against a wall.

TheUKCrazyhorse -> (12/3/2013 1:57:58 PM)

"...as played by William Sadler (of Die Hard 2 and The Shawshank Redemption fame)..."

And Bill & Teds Bogus Journey. Really Empire, I can't believe you didn't mention that there too... :P

f1r3starter -> 14 (12/3/2013 4:51:18 PM)

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but it's a donkey, not a bunny. So "MEGA DONKEY!!".....if you ask me that is....

Iago 1979 -> Some other suggestions... SPOILER ALERT (13/3/2013 3:29:21 PM)

If I may interject, Stephanie Szostak's character isn't Bethany Cabe, but Ellen Brandt from the Man-Thing comic. This is re-inforced with the AIM refenreces, of which she is an agent.

The moody bloke in panel 8 is James Badge Dale's Eric Savin, a.k.a. Coldblood. This explains the martial arts skills on display - he's Guy Pearce's muscle.

And could that final panel actually be showing Ashley Hamilton's character Jaack Taggert in his Firepower get-up?? ;)

lucky828282 -> StarkBunny (16/3/2013 7:40:13 PM)

Are they going to make more bunnies so we can buy them???

Bleaz79 -> Hmmmm? Hulkbuster? (17/3/2013 10:42:40 AM)

I don't think that is the Hulkbuster armour in 28. It may be something that forms the basis of the Hulkbuster in the future. Everybody knows that IM3 is leading into Guardians so I think that this is Tony's newly developed deep space suit. Looks intimidating though.
