Nexus Wookie -> RE: Movies that spoiled the songs (14/1/2013 4:37:37 PM)

quote:
ORIGINAL: rich So you have a licensed soundtrack in a movie instead of an original one, pretty effective in the right circumstances right? Anyone unable to hear that music though afterwards without thinking of say ... the bodies piling up in Goodfellas? Like a permanent association, do you think it's annoying or just one of those things? I don't have a problem with that, in fact i end up loving the song even more. Like The Doors The End from Apocalypse Now or even Barry Manilow because Hellboy and Abe were singing along to it! [:D] In fact i think the thread should be 'Songs that ruin movie' in which case Leona Fucking Lewis warbling cringe-worthyingly in Avatar wins it for me hands down. You might say Avatar was quite poor prior to the credit song, but that crap song for me shat all over the movie without even having the decency of saying 'oops'!
