doblet1 -> Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (28/12/2012 12:10:59 AM)

Hi,

I'm from the UK and I uploaded my entry to the DISS website some weeks ago. The confirmation message appeared at the end of the upload to say the film had been submitted successfully, but it hasn't appeared on the website. I've uploaded it with a second email address and it still hasn't worked. Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks.

I've got the same problem. Submitted the movie 3 days ago - still not there. Has your issue been solved? Has your film appeared yet?
Regards

pantherion -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (8/1/2013 1:08:16 PM)

On a second thought, it looks like the videos are uploaded in bunches, according to the areas they come from. So I'll start worrying when it does not show in the UK lot.

Agent 355 -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (8/1/2013 5:33:22 PM)

Hi
Anyone know if the logo at the start forms part of the 60 seconds or not. It used to say it didnt but that sentence has been removed now.

If that's the case, I really wish they'd mention it on the site! As it is we can't tell whether its going to be entered at all.

Agent 355: the logo is definitely in addition to the 60 seconds.

Asgarad -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (9/1/2013 1:07:54 PM)

But did you guys get a confirmation email, cause I didn't???

doblet1 -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (10/1/2013 7:32:45 PM)

I didn't get a confirmation email. It just came up with a message saying it had been successfully submitted.

Asgarad -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (10/1/2013 10:07:01 PM)

Oh great I was starting to worry

pantherion -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (14/1/2013 1:14:33 PM)

And I am still worried as my work of genius hasn't appeared on the site yet. Only loads of Eastern European submissions. What is going on? It's been weeks now, and the deadline is approaching... Has anyone contacted Jameson/Empire? How much longer shall we wait? Stressful.

catwand -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (14/1/2013 3:40:50 PM)

Uploaded mine on Saturday, nothing so far. Hardly any UK entries there.
What's going on?

conham -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (15/1/2013 3:02:39 PM)

Mine too, but are you automatically disqualified for using copyright music?

Are we allowed use the original music from the film we chose or do we have to compose our own music to use on our film?

Asgarad -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (15/1/2013 4:13:32 PM)

I don't think we are automatically disqualified, cause many of submission have copyright music and go over the 30 sec music limit. Nevertheless it isn't quite clear if you can go over the 30 sec music if you make your own music.

pantherion -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (16/1/2013 9:13:05 AM)

Mine's just been uploaded! Delayed by 2 weeks, but still. Check out The Shining by A. Podsiadlo!

catwand -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (16/1/2013 11:46:50 AM)

OK, just seen that mine has been uploaded.
It must be taking some time to get them uploaded to YouTube, I've not had the confirmation email yet, but the video is there.

What happens now anyhow? Do we need to get the public to vote on our videos or is it out of our hands now?
Either way, I think things should be made a little clearer next time, there seems to be a lot of confusion about this whole thing.
Best of luck to you all. I'm sure if you uploaded your video it will be entered into the compo.

here's mine btw if anyone's interested.

Actually, mine seems to have disappeared now??? What on earth is going on???

pantherion -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (17/1/2013 9:42:58 AM)

And now it's back. Catch it while you can: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJqvNb_P7Gk

conham -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (17/1/2013 6:00:59 PM)

How do you enter from Ireland? ireland isn't listed as one of the countries on the Submit form

will2186 -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (18/1/2013 12:37:14 PM)

Have been trying to upload an entry since last night with no luck. At the end of the upload I keep getting the following error ' There was an error with your file upload, please try again. Please make sure your video file size is not greater than 100MB. '

My video is a .mp4 at 48mb, so im at a bit of a loss.

Is this in anyway linked to the extension of UK entries to Jan 30th?

Cheers.

pantherion -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (18/1/2013 9:48:46 PM)

I don't t think they accept mp4s. I converted my film to .mov

will2186 -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (19/1/2013 11:13:34 AM)

Ah okay, just exported mine as .mov and im getting the same error?

Do you have any details on the specifics of your file? Im using Adobe Premiere to export, feels like this shouldn't be a problem!

Thanks.

TheHurricane -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (19/1/2013 3:27:03 PM)

I live in Sweden. I'm trying to upload my video, but Sweden is not among the countries in the uploading-list. There are many countries that are absent from that list by the way :P
Is there any other way to upload my video? I hope the competition is still running in Sweden this year.

Thanks for answer! :)

salladkatt -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (19/1/2013 10:54:22 PM)

I live in Sweden too, and I was going to upload my video but the page is gone?? I get automatically redirected to the youtube page, does this mean the competition is closed now or what's going on?

TheHurricane -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (20/1/2013 10:16:13 AM)

I have no idea. When you enter the site with a country that isn't listed in the uploading-list, it appears that you get redirected to the youtube site. I wish somebody could do something about this. :/

piccolo135 -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (20/1/2013 1:50:00 PM)

Not sure why these questions are getting ignored...but if memory serves that DISS site is for UK entry only. Other countries have their own DISS site with entry form.

I have the same problem, I've tried pretty much every format possible... Have you found a solution?

Zellafilm -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (20/1/2013 6:24:47 PM)

Hi! Did you find a way to upload a film from Sweden? We have the same problem.

conham -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (20/1/2013 7:21:04 PM)

Im having the same problem in Ireland, did you find away to upload your video?

salladkatt -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (20/1/2013 9:10:09 PM)

I'm afraid I'm still no wiser, I sent an email to Empireonline though and I really hope someone will answer and clear things up, I'm guessing they must be pretty swamped right now though what with the awards and all but if I do get a reply I'll make sure to post about it here right away.

Khara -> RE: Done in 60 Seconds Upload Issues (20/1/2013 9:20:57 PM)

Hey, I have the same problem with the error. I've been trying for hours to upload my movie... :( it doesn't work and nobody answers us. They should re-check their servers or solve the problem, it's not fair because I've worked a lot on this..
