Scruffybobby -> "Designer" 3D Glasses (19/12/2012 8:25:50 PM)

Since it looks like 3D's going to around for a while yet - sorry Dr K - I was thinking about getting a pair specs that are designed to be kept rather than just chucked. If only because they'll be more comfy - and to avoid the thick frames that can get in the way a bit.

Summat like these

anyone able to recommend a pair? Maybe up to about 12 or so?

I have something similar (although i have only seen one 3D film since I purchased them over a year ago [;)]). They worked as well as the standard ones. One thing to note is that they usually do not work on IMAX 3D and only on Real 3D or equivalent.

These were the ones I have somewhere (I now realise i have no idea where they are).

Has there been any advancement in creating 3D glasses for us unfortunate souls who already wear glasses? Its not a major issue for me but it just feels weird.

You can get little clip on fellas like these

http://www.amazon.co.uk/3D-clip-glasses-circularly-polarized/dp/B005574B9E/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1356620086&sr=1-4

Other than that I suppose the thing would be prescription polarized glasses, but you'd really  have to like 3d to consider anything like that.
