It’s that time again, guys and dolls! We’re giving you the chance to win some extremely cool prizes by impressing us with your artistry. There’s a twist though: it won’t be the Empire team you need to impress, it’ll be Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer who’ll be scrutinising your work and picking his favourite artwork.
One reader will scoop up the ultimate Gangster DVD collection, including GoodFellas, True Romance, Heat, LA Confidential and The Town, as well as a Gangster Squad quad poster. What's more, they'll also snag the complete Sopranos series on DVD and Boardwalk Empire box sets! To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is post a piece of artwork inspired by the guns, glamour and gangsters of Fleischer’s new film by December 31 in this very forum thread. Fleischer will peruse your entries in the new year and pick his favourite.
Set in 1949 and following the tale of kingpin mobster Mickey Cohen, Gangster Squad, in cinemas Jan 10, unites a cracking cast in Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Josh Brolin in a volatile world of illegality and bloody moider.
