magiclips -> Kidman makes it worthwhile (13/11/2012 6:37:32 AM)

This is an easily forgotten bit of lightweight cinematic fluff. Or it would be, were it not for Nicole Kidman. The story is erratic and ultimately makes no sense - but, hey, you can hardly blame a mousy little bank employee from a small town in the country from thinking with something other than his brains when someone who looks like Ms Kidman wants to play bedroom games with him, can you? Honestly, almost any unmarried straight male on the planet could be led up the garden path and into all sorts of trouble when he's being bamboozled by the former Mrs Tom Cruise.

But I digress. The movie, as a whole, is a reasonably pleasant way to pass 90 odd, but the only thing you'll remember more than five minutes after the end credits is Nicole Kidman as a brunette with a Russian accent.

Samurai7 -> Nice (13/2/2014 7:39:12 AM)

3 stars is fair, it is good. The flat bits are balanced out but the leads who are excellent. Chaplin was the highlight.
