Denish -> Issue 283 (25/10/2012 10:10:33 AM)

A.k.a. the January Empire Issue [;)]

I'd like to know if it will feature, on cover, or inside, the Man of Steel..Last year we had two covers for Tdkr for that issue.
I hope that IronMan 3 does not take the cover, cause it's always the same RdJ with the same suit with the same arm lifted..
We want something fresh and new [;)]

P.s. Sorry for my english, I'm italian, and thanks in advance for the answers!!

bereski -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 10:44:13 AM)

I'd love to see specified, dedicated cover like the Hobbit Issue instead of bad photoshop merge of "Best Movies of 2013".

Man of Steel, Hitchock, Lincoln or Iron Man 3 with preview of the Oscars and a summary of 2012.

Well, and it's a first numer of '13 so, maybe some design changes.

Denish -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 11:46:22 AM)

The fact is that I'm hungry for news about MoS..Their marketing has to start, in december we'll have the first full trailer like TDKR in 2011..So I'm sure that next issue will feature the movie..My hope is that it can take the cover over IronMan 3 (even if marvel's one come earlier in theaters).
I posted my question here because I wanted to be reassured from some "empire admin/moderator" [;)]

Denish -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 12:13:49 PM)

Sorry for the ignorance..but, what does that mean? [:)]

jackcarter -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 2:02:21 PM)

ST(in2)D[:)]

FilmFan123 -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 2:37:58 PM)

it'll be either Star Trek Into Darkness or Iron Man 3 or Man Of Steel
and, as per usual, a large Oscar special

film man aidy -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 3:44:59 PM)

Would love either 'The Place Beyond the Pines' and/or 'Only God Forgives' (and why not - Mr Gosling is pretty bankable these days...), but we more likely to get 'Star Trek into Darkness' or 'Man of Steel'. Please not Iron Man 3. Am looking foward to it, but am getting sick of Marvel associated covers.

Denish -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 3:54:18 PM)

That's true..An then, marvel fans have just received a full trailer, a teaser poster, and a bunch of stills..Now it's time to show something for other movies..

luccewada -> RE: Issue 283 (25/10/2012 4:53:02 PM)

I'd like MoS too. I think the first ST was on the December cover back in '08. Iron Man 3 will probably pop up in January!

Denish -> RE: Issue 283 (26/10/2012 9:41:43 PM)

So my question will not be answered....[:D]

buffster28 -> RE: Issue 283 (29/10/2012 5:38:17 PM)

Man Of Steel would be good.

......but anything really as long as the actual mag has more variety in the content than the last 2 issues.

bereski -> RE: Issue 283 (30/10/2012 10:43:51 AM)

Star Trek 2 or The Lone Ranger could be interesting.

BudBaxter -> RE: Issue 283 (30/10/2012 11:11:56 AM)

Pop-up Rupert Grint cover, with the entire issue dedicated to the career of Rupert Grint. Price 5.99.

[:)]

On a more serious note, Denish - no, your question will not be answered. You'll just have to wait & see. Unless it's a 'special issue' like this months Hobbit one, Empire rarely give advance notice of what's in future issues of the magazine.

Denish -> RE: Issue 283 (31/10/2012 10:10:18 AM)

At least we know for sure that MoS will be featured in the magazine ( cover or not ) because of the trailer coming out next month..
Same thing happened with TDKR last year, having the trailer attached to Sherlock Holmes - A Game of Shadows..
Wait is killing me!..

film man aidy -> RE: Issue 283 (31/10/2012 10:49:28 AM)

star Wars Episode VII preview issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denish -> RE: Issue 283 (31/10/2012 11:31:14 AM)

xzynomorpher -> RE: Issue 283 (1/11/2012 7:54:39 AM)

Django Unchained maybe? Or A Good Day To Die Hard?

Denish- being caught in the middle of sympathizing with you and not wanting to spoil everyone else's fun- let me just say that the film's full title can be seen multiple times in this thread.

jackcarter -> RE: Issue 283 (3/11/2012 1:44:05 PM)

wonder when the 1st Episode VII cover will be? there was a Hobbit one years ago so theres bound to be an Ep 7 soon....

I'd be shocked if there wasn't one next month, even if it's just a logo.

bereski -> RE: Issue 283 (3/11/2012 9:29:03 PM)

or Lucas or even Mark Hamill today.

Cool Breeze -> RE: Issue 283 (6/11/2012 3:09:20 PM)

Probably another fucking Hobbit issue [8|]

Denish -> RE: Issue 283 (6/11/2012 7:48:26 PM)

Covers to avoid:
1) Another Hobbit one
2) Star Wars, it's too soon and then, people does not care anymore
3) Iron Man 3..nuff said

Covers i'd like to see:
1) Man of Steel, it's f******* time to promote this film!!
2) Star Trek 2

dark crystal -> RE: Issue 283 (8/11/2012 10:45:29 PM)

How about Django Unchained or Gangster Squad, perhaps? No?

Blockbuster franchise cover #12 it is then....again.

Chris Hewitt -> RE: Issue 283 (14/11/2012 2:54:19 PM)

You're all correct. It's all of them.

film man aidy -> RE: Issue 283 (14/11/2012 4:32:38 PM)

Just out of curiousity Mr Hewitt, how long before the issue comes out do you decide on the cover? And are you on Film 2012 tonight?

Chris Hewitt -> RE: Issue 283 (14/11/2012 7:46:08 PM)

Most often weeks/months in advance. And yes.
