Caught this in Toronto last week. Absolutely blown away by it - THE cop drama of the last few years. The found footage element(which despite reviews isn't the entire runtime) gets you completely immersed from an early stage, feeling like you're literally along for the ride. Some truely great performances in this and at least a couple of scenes that made the cinemagoers in the screening gasp out loud...And try to avoid the trailers guys. I watched one afterwards, and it gives away several of the film's surprises...
Be warned though, it really is a 'hard as nails' thriller and doesn't pull any punches.

***** (and my personal film of the year so far)

Looking forward to this. I love these type of movies (Training Day, Street Kings, Brooklyn's Finest, Rampart, Narc etc) and this looks brilliant. William Friedkin recently tweeted that he liked it too.

Just for the record, should Empire post anything less than **** for this, then they're wrong! If you are remotely a fan of this genre, prepare for a seriously good night at the flicks. ***** from me, and my favourite film since Drive.
