List your current apps/books/podcasts/games on your tablet/smartphone or any time you download something new.

Here's what I downloaded on my iPad 3 recently:

What have you downloaded recently? What's your favourite content?

Could you specify the artist and song for the purpose of this thread?

horribleives -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (26/9/2012 2:25:39 PM)

I bought a book yesterday but it's made of paper so I don't think it counts.

MonsterCat -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (26/9/2012 2:27:11 PM)

Yesterday I downloaded an iPhone app that makes your music sound like vinyl.

It was rubbish.

Unfortunately not. Only ebooks are permitted, paper is so 2009.

Hope this helps.

Podcasts-All 9 episodes of Retsutalk, since they've just gone onto iTunes.

Games-Everything from the Humble Bundle 6, which I then plonked on Steam.
If you're after iPod/Pad/Whatever games, then The Dark Meadow (Really good, and free)

Hood_Man -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (26/9/2012 6:43:36 PM)

I upgraded My Mac to Mountain Lion if that counts.

What are everyones favourite podcasts? I listen to The Nerdist occasionally, I've heard WTF is good.

What IOS/Android games are you currently playing?

What are your favourite books in your iBooks/Kindle library?

What apps do you most often?

4. There's this great one on the iphone called 'Phone' it lets me talk to my friends!

donethinking -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (27/9/2012 12:01:34 PM)

the handiest app i've downloaded recently is Screen filter, makes the screen as dull as you like for bed time browsing.

gingerdaniel -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (30/9/2012 8:32:10 PM)

Simpsons tapped out.

Seems like a bit of fun, much easier on the ipad than phone! my username's gingerdaniel on there if you want to be 'friends' and see my version of springfield as it grows!

Shifty Bench -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (30/9/2012 11:33:19 PM)

I don't have a tablet or a smart phone but I do like to listen to podcasts, I download quite a few each week.

Is The Nerdist one of them?

Depends on the guest.

This is true for me on other podcasts, but The Nerdist I'm more generous with as they talk mainly about geeky stuff like film, TV, video games etc.

Again, for me though it depends on the subject. I'm not going to care if they talk for an hour about a show or film I don't care about.

I listen to about 8 podcasts on a weekly basis.

vad3r -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (30/9/2012 11:59:06 PM)

Which ones do you listen to?

Shifty Bench -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (1/10/2012 12:10:05 AM)

This is weird because I am arguing with you in another thread.

Cort And Fatboy (Mon-Fri but I miss Tues and Thurs)
The Morning Stream (Mon-Thurs)
Kermode and Mayo (Fri)
Friday Night Comedy on BBC4 (guess what day)
Coverville (Tues and Thurs)
Filmsack (Usually Mon)
How Did This Get Made (Mon but mini-eps every second week)
The Flop House (Mon but sometimes they take breaks, two of them write for the Daily Show so if tht show is 'on tour' they take a break)
Down In Front (Mon)

That's nine. Wow.

vad3r -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (1/10/2012 12:14:29 AM)

We could never argue, and yes, that's a lot of podcasts. I've only heard of Kermode and Mayo from that list.

You've heard of Down In Front, I used to link to them in my sig, remember?

Filmsack, The Flop House and How Did This Get Made all celebrate bad movies. Friday Night Comedy is The News Quiz or The Now Show, whatever is on, Coverville is a music show celebrating cover songs, Cort And Fatboy is a geek show with daily guests who specialize in certain things. Tech on Monday, Films on Friday for example. Finally, The Morning Stream is a morning radio show with different topics and stuff.

Did it involve American guys doing fan commentary for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs?

Shifty Bench -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (1/10/2012 12:32:15 AM)

It did indeed.

vad3r -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (1/10/2012 12:39:17 AM)

What do you think of Kevin Smith's podcasts? He has quite a few now. His rant on the Batman saga was interesting.

Shifty Bench -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (1/10/2012 12:52:57 AM)

Gave up listening to his podcasts about a year ago. Just got bored of them.

vad3r -> RE: What apps/books/podcasts/games have you downloaded this week? (1/10/2012 12:59:49 AM)

I don't listen to them either, just the Batman piece he did.
