Eeek, someone needs to read up The Hobbit again for some of the details. In the book the 13 dwarves AND Bilbo are captured by the goblins and Gandalf follows unseen. But anyway, great breakdown.

gruffallo -> cave troll???? (21/9/2012 7:59:10 AM)

That's not a c ave troll in number 26. Look at the colour, and the crown on the head. If I'm not mistaken that is the Great Goblin King, as mo-capped and voiced by Barry Humphries.

danbo1138 -> Can't wait for this (21/9/2012 12:38:14 PM)

Brilliant year for geek movies and looks like they saved the best for last.

I'm pretty sure you can hear an eagle cry when Gandalf is in the tree.

Gimli: "If anyone was to ask for my opinion, which I note they're not, I'd say we were taking the long way 'round. My cousin BALIN would give us a royal welcome."

I read the name on the breakdown and that's the first thing that popped into my head. lol!!!

There's an even more detailed an in-depth analysis over at http://www.wtfoosh.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/test-article.html

EdCunningham94 -> Actually (23/9/2012 7:26:39 PM)

Thorin actually says "We'll seize this chance to take back Erebor!!"

Correct, but Ori went with Balin when they recaptured Moria and it was he who wrote in the book. Note also that the battle with the orcs takes place next to the grave of "Balin, son of Fundin, Lord of Moria" and so he couldn't write the book as he was dead.

I have seen those films far too many times :) I've read the book quite a few too :D

Here’s what looks like John Callen’s Ori laying the smackdown on a goblin ne’er-do-well as the dwarves attempt to escape the goblin habitat.

John Callen plays Oin, not Ori.
But great breakdown, thanks! [sm=05.gif]
