I'm a huge fan of James Cameron and I'm looking forward to Avatar 2 and 3 even though I would prefer Battle Angel Alita.  But do you think Avatar 4 is overkill?  Especially it being a prequel. I think it is.  sound off below.

Has there been others???

I haven't even seen the first one!

Do we need Avatar at all?

No... no we don't.

2nd and 3rd are not really needed as far as I’m concerned. Can’t imagine they will perform anything like the first either, as the whole novelty of ‘proper 3D’ has worn off somewhat. Sure they’ll do well but I don’t think they’ll get anywhere near the returns of the first one. It’s just not interesting enough a universe he’s created to warrant 3 more films.

What we need is a stern reminder of what James Cameron used to be like… what we need is a hard edged Battle Angel film.

Not a big fan of the first one but I think they should leave it as a one part deal.

No we don't need Avatar 4 but then again we don't need Avatar 2 or 3 either.

Do we actually need Avatar 2

We didn't even need the first one. The world would have been a better place without it.

If Avatar 2,3 and 4 are going to teach as anything remotely interesting about our lives, other lives or just, generally, create a better more progressive script then yes it has my backing, but unfortunately it probably wont.

It'll probably just poke the audience (in its simple good vs bad direction) in the same manner the first did,but hey! it looks pretty.[8|]
