The Englishman misses...what a fucking shocker!

And awful from Adebayor! [:D] And they're out...

directorscut -> RE: European football (11/4/2013 10:44:09 PM)

Adebayor - you absolute clown.

Skiba -> RE: European football (11/4/2013 10:45:36 PM)

I didn't watch the whole game but was that the first Swiss neutrals 'gag'?

That is all.[:D]

James2183 -> RE: European football (11/4/2013 11:54:32 PM)

He is stealing a living

I was trying to think of a joke about Adebayor's penalty. Then it hit me.

Saltire -> RE: European football (12/4/2013 1:21:26 AM)

Cracking matches yet again in the Europa League tonight, the matches in the knockout stages of that competition have been more entertaining than the CL matches for the last few seasons undoubtedly.

Btw, Adebayor, laziest player ever?

Professor Moriarty -> RE: European football (12/4/2013 11:36:12 AM)

So, all set for an all German / all Spanish CL final. All eyes on Bayern vs. Barca I expect.

I don't think Chelsea will mind their draw. I think Benfica is the form team and a trip to Turkey is never pleasant.

OPEN YOUR EYES -> RE: European football (12/4/2013 11:51:31 AM)

Slowly but surely its getting to the final I want.[:D]

Wasn't sure about Barca the other night though.Take Messi out of the equation and Barca seem remarkably light-weight.

Rinc -> RE: European football (12/4/2013 2:39:33 PM)

As long as Real don't get through or win it I'll be happy. Would be quite good to see an all German final as Dortmund might be able to spring a surprise if Bayern bottle it again.

Bayern have had Dortmund's number this season, I couldn't see it going any other way.

Real vs Munich final would be my choice.

I do not want Barca anywhere near the final. Can you imagine the amount of diving and time wasting there would be if it was a Classico final? [&:]

galvatron -> RE: European football (13/4/2013 2:00:07 PM)

So the semi-finals draw is out. Barca, Munich should be an interesting tie. What you guys think? An all German or all Spanish final on the cards?

They have but there's always the chance Bayern bottle it.

I'd much rather have Barca in the final than Madrid, if we're going to avoid a Classico. I know their football isn't for everyone but I love the way they play.

When Messi is fit that is.

It'll be good. The English press might actually see the bad side of these two clubs other than kissing there backsides for the past few years.

So your saying Barca's diving is worse than Real's? Come on!

Like I said, if both of them are on the same pitch is will only be a bad game.

OPEN YOUR EYES -> RE: European football (22/4/2013 11:27:30 PM)

Looks like Bayern are going to be stronger next year.

They may as well hand them next year league crown now if they get Gotze...

Yep.Its all but confirmed.

"Mario Goetze and his agent informed Borussia Dortmund a few days ago that the player would like to trigger his release clause and move to Bayern Munich on July 1," the club said on its website (www.bvd.de) on Tuesday.

"We are naturally more than anything else all disappointed," Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke added, stressing that Goetze had acted in line with his contract.

Come on Barca!!

matty_b -> RE: European football (23/4/2013 9:13:23 PM)

So this game is interesting.

Nexus Wookie -> RE: European football (23/4/2013 9:14:20 PM)

Baaayyeeeeeerrrnnnnn!!!!

3-0

Bayern tearing Barca a new arsehole.

Qwerty Norris -> RE: European football (23/4/2013 9:17:59 PM)

Behind the goal officials. Explain?

superdan -> RE: European football (23/4/2013 9:19:13 PM)

It really is hard to escape the conclusion that if Messi isn't in the game, neither are Barca.

Nexus Wookie -> RE: European football (23/4/2013 9:23:16 PM)

Wow. Fuck me.

directorscut -> RE: European football (23/4/2013 9:23:57 PM)

This is like watching England vs. Germany 2010. Except Barca are even more toothless.

Fabregas sill on the bench?
