I would like to thank the Empire magazine for this (epic) exclusive. I am waiting for the film since 2010, when I saw The Dark Knight. Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan surely know how to turn any blockbuster film into a piece of art. The first (and only movie until August 2nd) that I saw with this team was Inception... It was love on the first sight, and it was the movie that made me want to see the Batman movies (Christopher Nolan´s ones and in the end, I saw the Tim Burton ones). Hans Zimmer makes Epic scores and it is all said, and in the other hand, Christopher Nolan made what very other directors didn´t had the
courage to do: reboot the Batman saga after the (obvious) failure of «Batman and Robin», and he succeeded! So, in this soundtrack, «Gotham Reckoning»is epic to the point of making me chills, and «Mind if I Cut In» has a new piano sequence that certainly is for the post-Two Face Bruce Wayne, since it transmits the feeling of someone that is somehow loosing grasp on his/her sanity. My favourite are these two, so what I can do is to thank you all so much and wish you keep up the good work!
