Might be wrong thread ,but does anyone know any movie clubs or movie discussions people do each week?

It's not weekly, nor even monthly as far as I know, but Mark Kermode is trying to get an online sort of film club going though his Kermode Uncut Blog on the BBC website. He suggests a film, then gives you ample time to go and purchase it and eventually watch it on a selected date, and then there is a blog discussion afterwards. It's a great idea but should be every 1/2 weeks instead.

The first film was Breathless, the modern version, and the upcoming second feature is Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with me.

There's MTOS on a Sunday evening on Twitter. It stands for Movie Talk On Sunday, and is on a specific subject each week (Yesterday was musicals).

Really that's cool I've been trying to find something like a book club of sorts but that might work

Excellent. I'm in total agreement with his views on that film. Lynch's best flick by a country mile.

There's always the Hall of Fame here on Empire too. 12 people nominate a film each, everyone watches them, discusses them and then votes for their favourites. Take about 3 months per HOF though, so mightn't be the best if you're looking for a quick turnover.
