From_Hell -> Android App - AccuWeather on Samsung Galaxy S3 (21/6/2012 8:26:46 AM)

So I got my new Samsung Galaxy S3 yesterday and very happy I am with it too. It seems a huge leap forward from my old HTC Desire.

I'm using the AccuWeather widget because it looks pretty, but something on it is really bugging me. Just to the right of the digital clock on the widget, I have a little orange symbol that looks a bit like a sun, with the number 1 in the middle. I assumed it was some kind of notification, but I have no unread emails/messages and if I press on the widget, or directly on the orange symbol itself, nothing happens. I've removed the widget and replaced it, but it's still there. Can anyone tell me what it is, and how I can get rid of it? It's a minor niggle but it's really bugging me

I use this but am not sure what you're on about. Can you screenshot it?

Here you go mate. It's the little orange sun symbol with a number in it, to the right of the digital clock:

As above it seems to be due to British Summer Time (which is UTC (co-ordinated Universal Time) + 1).

If this theory is correct, it means come the end of October, it'll disappear until May.
