Discodez -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (19/6/2012 9:55:01 AM)

In no particular order the comedies I enjoy watching the most:

The Producers (1968)
Blazing Saddles
Mike Bassett, England Manager
Dodgeball
League of Gentlemen Christmas Special

to name a few.

Can't say I thought that much of recent films such a the Hangover or Bridesmaids, I thought they were funny, just no so funny I'd buy a copy for re-watching.

I'm no fan of comedy movies, but Zoolander really does crack me up. It's infinitely re-watchable and quotable (for me, anyway)

The last really funny film I watched was 21 Jump street. Also a big fan of Walk Hard.

Recently 21 jump street made me alaugh, which I didn't expect. Who knew Tatum was such a great comedian?

Of all time?  I think Young Frankenstein could be my favourite.

Thats another gem [:D]

Rob -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (27/6/2012 4:31:57 PM)

Murder by Death is great.

I love Some Like it Hot and it's one of my favourites but bizarrely I don't think it's that hilarious. It's funny but in an amusing sort of way as opposed to outright hilarity.

For laugh out loud films I'd go for:

Airplane
Dodgeball
Basketball
South Park the Movie

Also the ending of Superbad left me sobbing with laughter and yet left my girlfriend absolutely perplexed...and probably questioning our relationship!

Good one. I will add Clue to the list.

kumar -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (28/6/2012 8:11:21 PM)

The Hangover was unexpectedly hilarious (bar the little chinese man in everything) and the laughs escalated through the roof during the credits- I really felt like I was part of the group and in on all the jokes by the end,

The funniest ive ever seen is Trains Planes and Automobiles. I tried to get my friends to sit and watched it but everyone was bored before Steve Martin had even got to race Kevin Bacon for a taxi. TPA is the best comedy.

drews -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (28/6/2012 8:39:10 PM)

This is, of course, Airplane!

moviebuff73 -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (28/6/2012 9:00:58 PM)

planes, trains & automobiles haven't seen that in ages. classic steve martin & jonh candy movie.

moviebuff73 -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (28/6/2012 9:04:03 PM)

talking of steve martin, i love the three amigoes. very funny.

Elflud -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (29/6/2012 9:00:08 AM)

So I married an axe murderer had a mention yet? Saw it at the cinema only because the film I wanted to see was sold out (some Bruce Willis chod I seem to recall)

Saltire -> RE: funniest movie you've seen? (29/6/2012 6:31:21 PM)

I forgot about The Money Pit as well, classic Hanks [:D]

I also used to watch Batchelor Party years ago also and loved that too with him.
