Mr.Screen -> Okay... (13/6/2012 7:40:22 AM)

When you mention Robocop you're talking about my favourite film of all time. But I have to say, what I've heard about the script so far filled me with dread. Having said that though. Jackson, Oldman and now Laurie?. The skeleton of the script sounds absolutely awful but the script itself must have something to it otherwise I doubt we'd be getting this much star power. I'm starting to warm to the idea.

chris kilby -> Hollywood Has A Cancer... (13/6/2012 8:48:43 AM)

That cancer is duff re-makes.

(Does this mean OCP will have a CEO who's a bit of a numpty and the real power behind the throne will be... Rowan Atkinson? Um... The original Robocop's "Old Man" was clearly meant to be Reagan - seemingly benign old duffer everyone underestimates but is actually evil, evil, EEEEEE-VIIIIIIIIIIIL!!! So shouldn't the new CEO be Anthony Mackie or someone?)

Taz69 -> Bertie Wooster a villain? (13/6/2012 9:14:11 AM)

All he needs to beat Robocop is to abolish Detroit supply of WD40

Nicky C -> That could be awesome! (13/6/2012 10:14:57 AM)

Mr. Laurie could bring a really fresh twist (or should that be 'Soupy Twist'? Arf arf) to it. His sardonic wit would be perfect for an evil exec. and if they can get his musical skills in there as well, then that's even better.

bradcam72 -> Accent (13/6/2012 10:40:22 AM)

I just hope he plays the part with his own accent rather than the drawl he uses on House. And I think it's "Soapy Twist" not "Soupy". I hope says the immortal line "Once, I even called him a**hole...".

drews -> (13/6/2012 4:37:59 PM)

you can't argue with Hugh Laurie doing ANYTHING!!!!

BenTramer -> (27/8/2012 12:18:08 AM)

I'm glad Hugh Laurie is out, I've never found him convincing as an American. He sounds like a actor trying to do an accent instead of a real character. Stars do plenty of shit films for the money, so don't be fooled by the big names here. It's about quality not quantity.

bdgr -> 2 things... (27/8/2012 12:59:56 AM)

1: Hugh Laurie looks like my dad.
2: I can see him as Ronny Cox. Would look perfect!

LSJShez -> (27/8/2012 10:38:45 AM)

He should be playing Robocop!

burtbondy -> Dont Want Him (27/8/2012 11:36:32 AM)

His American accent is so bad it probably would of buried the movie.
