Firstlook -> Francis Ford Coppala symbolism? (23/5/2012 8:48:28 PM)

So got a Cut of Twixt and there is a Shot of Kilmer in the beginning of him sitting in a store for a book signing. In the shot a sale sign is clearly pointed at the character that reads 19.99 SALE. So the character is obviously FFC and I know his last studio film was The Rainmaker in 97. After that........Well everyone has there reasons. I don't know much about the directors dealings in hollywood, but is it safe to assume that he quit making hollywood features because the money was to influential in the business by that year for him to have any enjoyment in his craft?

Just thought it would be interesting to discuss.

He did a film a few years ago, something about youth with Tim Roth in sounded awful.
