Since there wasn't much of the plot revealed, all I can really say is that visually, it looks stunning.

Visually, this looks amazing. One of the best teasers I have seen in a while but Daniel Craig looks older than Roger Moore (and I mean Roger now)

I know, right? This is some year for film buffs! This epitomises what I LOVE about Daniel Craig's Bond...serious, real world, good action, great scripts! I think Sam Mendes is gonna knock this out of the park! Can't wait.

Loving the trailer and is it me or did I spot a possible nod to the Bourne movies. The shot of Bond hitting the water, taken from below is very similar to the signiture Bourne moment. Regardless this is looking to me like it could be the best Bond yet, certainly a lot darker again and quite possibly the most menacing performance of 007 we have yet to encounter. Excitement meter overload, this film cannot arrive soon enough.

I'm still hopful that this film will be good, but i'm just not fooled by trailers like this. I'll wait for the first proper trailer. they could have delivered a trailer like this for Quantumn - woulndn't make that any better.

It's a teaser, what do you expect? Would you prefer that it gave away most of the plot? Trailers are designed to tease us with what's to come, not show us the whole movie. Too many films forget that these days.

So, what exactly is new with Bond? Bond is practically immortal - and he will remain so while MGM/Columbia and Eon continue to make Bond films. And if Bond is immortal - where the heck is the fun in that?

It's about time Bond retired or died and let the franchise go out gracefully. Let's promote original films that don't keep to the same formula (girls, gadgets, guns, explosions - and if you like your explosions: more explosions).

Bond is irksome, tiresome and all manner of things that end in 'some'. I gave up pretty much after a View to a Kill. Soon became boring and repetitive soon after that.

I'll admit it hasn't "wowed" me but it looks good and there's a suitably dark and sinister tone to it.

The 'bram' equivalent on this occasion is representing gunshots (fire, echo), and perhaps the number of syllables in Skyfall (there is a momentary flash to a different scene in response to the first utterance of 'skyfall'), so hopefully the 'brams' say something more about the filmed being teased than 'default trailer element du jour'. Such as whatever 'skyfall' is being something that niggles at/hurts those who know about it and what it entails.

Shocked by this reaction.

Where is the Bourne stuff, or are you just using it as lazy shorthand? The film seems to be shot (and by the by it looks wonderfully shot) in a classical style, in stark contrast to Bournes free form, handheld style.

Not sure why Craig being older is a problem? Should we go for a 20 something Bond?

Sorry, did you want him to magically stop aging in the last four years? If only he was youthful and spry as Moore was in the role.

And how, exactly, does it look like Bourne?
