The Hooded Man -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (20/11/2013 11:24:42 AM)

The theory that Arrow is as close to a Batman live action TV series as we'll get won't go away with this news:

Dark Knight -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (20/11/2013 1:38:17 PM)

I wonder who they will choose to play her father? I already reckon he will be some kind of season finale reveal to lead into season 3.

Last weeks episode had me convinced that Detective Lance was going to be killed off, only to surprise me by not doing it!

Wild about Wilder -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (10/12/2013 10:10:37 AM)

I know I'm gonna sound like an old fart here BUT! Barry Allen's Blonde, Blue Eyed & at least a decade older than was shown last new 52 or not! [:@]

If it's any consolation, I also thought that this guy was way too young for Barry Allen. Bart Allen, maybe (or Wally West for that matter), but Barry? Nope - you'd need to add at least another 5-10 years!

Still, nice to see more of the DCU mainstays getting at least a reference in the show.

Wild about Wilder -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (12/12/2013 12:03:01 PM)

Well now they've decided to bring Ra's Al Ghul in is their any other part of the DC universe they can borrow from?
I for one won't be happy till one of my all time favorites Ted Kord surfaces considering how many times he's been mentioned.

The Hooded Man -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (12/12/2013 12:18:04 PM)

It'll be interesting to see who'll Ra's. David Warner anyone?

primebhoy -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (14/4/2014 3:07:22 PM)

Who's still watching??

Last few episodes have been brilliant IMO, with the introduction of Deathstroke and Canary.

Loads of brilliant fan moments too, including a harley quinn easter egg in the suicide squad episode!

Looking forward to the end of the series, and also some more DC references. Spoilers: Stephen Ammell hinted on his FB to Ferris Aircraft making an appearance (though doubt GL will appear!).

Piece by TIME magazine on the success of Arrow for the DC franchise.

Yes still watching it and loving it - one of the best shows are tv right now.

DONOVAN KURTWOOD -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (3/6/2014 8:31:31 AM)

I just picked up Season One of this on Blu Ray. Watched the Pilot last night and it was really good! Hoping the rest of the season maintains this level of quality.

Chris Boomen -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (6/6/2014 9:39:16 AM)

For me, the first season was more addictive than of high quality. They got me on the edge of my seat, while being an average show on technical levels. Season 2 is much, much better story-wise as well as technically.

Anyone know when/if were going to see Flash on the UK screen?

Mate has watched the pilot and said it was great.

Wild about Wilder -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (9/12/2014 12:14:35 PM)

Gotta admit it was fun to see the nod to old school DC comics with the return of the Boxing Glove Arrow! [sm=happy07.gif][sm=worship.gif]

Dark Knight -> RE: Arrow - UK/Sky1 Speed (18/12/2014 10:40:15 PM)
