Not the last i watched but still quite recent To Kill a Mockingbird. I have to give two thumbs up
to Universal for the restoration/transfer, they usually disappoint me with their releases for older films.
Mabey they step up their game for classics, à la Psycho.
The last i watched was, dare i say it, Johnny English: Reborn. Surprisingly decent extras.

Fringe Season 3 Disc 1

DancingClown -> RE: What was the last Blu Ray or DVD you watched ? (15/3/2012 11:10:21 AM)

Kill list. While I enjoyed the intense atmosphere, the performances, and the dramatic gear changes, I did see the very last scene coming a mile off, which kinda dulled the shock. Still very good though.

UTB -> RE: What was the last Blu Ray or DVD you watched ? (15/3/2012 1:29:25 PM)

Warrior

One of the best films I've seen in a long time.

So is the bluray of DD the directors cut or are there two versions out there? Been toying with picking it up, but only interested in the dc.

The Children

I bought this recently as it was cheap on Blu-Ray and I'd not seen it. It was surprisingly entertaining for a British horror movie. I wouldn't say it was a particularly scary movie but it certainly held my interest.

They do make for an awesome double bill!

Kubrickrube -> RE: What was the last Blu Ray or DVD you watched ? (1/4/2012 5:03:00 PM)

Alien
Aliens
Source Code
Alien3

I see a common pattern emerging here. I'm not sure where everyone stands on the Alien movies but my favourite is the original. I think Aliens is great but the plot isn't as good. I just find the characters less interesting.

Kubrickrube -> RE: What was the last Blu Ray or DVD you watched ? (4/4/2012 9:04:19 PM)

A Single Man

First time I've actually watched this. My respect for Colin Firth as an actor, has continued to grow recently. An intelligent piece of film making.

Crooklyn

Enjoyable. Some of it was very good and some of it was completely forgettable. Some great acting but not one of Lee's best. The comedy didn't seem to run smoothly with the drama at some points.

UTB -> RE: What was the last Blu Ray or DVD you watched ? (7/4/2012 5:18:55 PM)

[image]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/512512Ie2RL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/image] - as good as everyone says it is.

Kubrickrube -> RE: What was the last Blu Ray or DVD you watched ? (8/4/2012 12:13:57 AM)

The Help

I'm not going to lie, I really enjoyed this movie. The story stands for itself but the acting was great. It was great to see that the movie didn't opt for a star in any of the roles. I'm sure that the big guns would have been lining the block to star in this as well.
