Swedle -> Comedy/Musical (16/1/2012 9:39:01 AM)

This is what annoys me about the Golden Globes, My Week with Marylin was not a comedy/musical, it was definately a drama, a pretty light drama, but still a drama! they always lump anything that isn't a gritty macho drama i with the comedy/musical section! although i did think it was a well deserved gong for Michelle Williams.

The E! coverage was almost non-existent. 5 minutes of ads for every 30 seconds of actual ceremony footage, cutting away abruptly presumably whenever anyone said anything interesting. I gave up after about 40 minutes. Worst coverage I've ever seen for anything, and I remember watching early 90's Brit Awards. E! can get knotted.

Best Comedy/Musical

Abit of a random catergory.
Why does 'musicals' and 'Comedies' need to be lumped in the same catergory?.

Worse than Sky's coverage over the years? God....[&:]

Delighted to see A Separation receive its fully deserved accolade. Hopefully BAFTA & Oscar repeat the trick. [:)]
