fraser1978 -> Some more.. (25/11/2011 1:56:09 PM)

Maverick and Goose, Indiana Jones and Short-Round, Josh Baskin and and Billy in Big, Gary and Wyatt in Weird Science...I just love the 80's!

Bigcheeseben -> Merry and Pippin (25/11/2011 2:16:13 PM)

Where are these two? Disgraceful, that Bridesmaids is on here but not these two.

drqwerty -> (25/11/2011 3:10:46 PM)

I never realised Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels played Chewie and Han too!

UGonnaBarkAllDayDog? -> A sad day for Star Wars... (25/11/2011 3:52:55 PM)

... when it's quoted 'from 1997'.

The special editions have now officially replaced history.

PercyJackson4 -> Harry Potter (25/11/2011 5:56:18 PM)

The scene from Ron and Harry's friendship is from Half Blood Prince, not Goblet of Fire :)

Lonea -> What about Merry and Pippin? (25/11/2011 6:35:29 PM)

I really think they should make the list!

MartinHeron -> (25/11/2011 7:08:49 PM)

I know you've got Jay and Silent Bob, but surely Dante and Randal deserve inclusion too? Randal's speechifying in the jail at the end of Clerks II is one of the greatest bits of bromantic cinema ever.

nKutzler -> (26/11/2011 5:56:20 PM)

Thank you for recognizing that Ocean's 12 has great character work. To me, it more than overshadows the strange heist in the movie and yes, Julia Roberts as Tess as Julia Roberts.

where are disneys coolest most badass set of best friends :O shocked

DancingClown -> SIDEWAYS (27/11/2011 4:11:02 PM)

Great list but very sad not to see my favourite movie friends Miles and Jack from Sideways. They complete each-other perfectly and the fact they've been friends since young men is so gently and honestly conveyed.

The Samaritan -> 'Live for me Wyatt.' (27/11/2011 5:38:29 PM)

What about Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday. Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas in Gunfight at the O.K Corral, Kevin Costner and Dennis Quaid in Wyatt Earp, or (my personal favourite) Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer in Tombstone.

Dalek Dave -> BTTF BBF! (27/11/2011 11:24:27 PM)

Erm, Marty McFly and Doc Brown!?!....

c0nal -> (28/11/2011 6:51:13 AM)

33? how very illuminatti of you! no E.T. and Elliot?

bruciebonus -> Franchise? FRANCHISE??? (28/11/2011 8:42:55 PM)

Ahem, The Star Wars films are a Saga...a franchise is for Subway and Mcdonalds

Steven Jay -> You're being very un-dude!!! (29/11/2011 5:07:40 PM)

Where's The Dude and Walter....... man!!

doug64 -> this list could go on for EVER!!!! (5/12/2011 12:49:52 AM)

midnightcowboy1976 -> RE: 33 Of Film's Best Best Friends (28/12/2011 8:12:57 PM)

butch cassidy and the sundance kid for sure
also ratso rizzo and joe buck

FilmFanaticFrancesca -> RE: What about Merry and Pippin? (10/1/2012 7:17:51 PM)

They definitely should! Sam and Frodo, Merry and Pippin and Gimli and Legolas! They all have amazing friendships! And i know Frodo was under the influence of the ring but he was still a bit of a dick to Sam towards the end! I've never been able to forgive him for making Sam cry! That is unacceptable to me! But Merry and Pippin's friendship is definitely the sweetest!
