Post your comments on this article

witters -> Point Break Foot Chase Correction (18/11/2011 7:37:11 PM)

It is actually a Ronald Reagan rubber mask that Bodie is wearing during this foot chase... tsk tsk Empire.... "Reagan Smash!!"

LeonardShelby -> Where is Se7en?! (18/11/2011 8:56:59 PM)

The BEST foot chase ever filmed!

adam behan -> Where is In Time (18/11/2011 9:30:06 PM)

The foot chase between will sayaz and sylvia weiss and timekeeper Leon in in time is one of my favourite

spankrock83 -> mario van peebles???? (18/11/2011 10:22:49 PM)

I am pretty sure its Ice T not mario van peeples chasing down Chris 'Crack' Rock at the start of New jack city

Whistler -> (18/11/2011 10:35:59 PM)

I was getting ready to exclaim: "Where's Point Break!?", but all is well. Cool article, by the way.

WHERE_IS_HEAT??????? -> WHERE IS HEAT??? (18/11/2011 10:51:20 PM)

Long time reader, but never felt the need to comment before. Really like the list, but this is a massive miss. Heat is an iconic chase, and its amazing! Big miss!

Ali Plumb -> Heat (18/11/2011 11:33:38 PM)

Heat is, of course, a fantastic foot chase but I decided not to put it in because it had too much shooting (see also Lethal Weapon and Gibson vs. Busey) and not enough running and suchlike.

Definitely was in our longlist, but was cut out. Sorry about that! As for Se7en, well, Se7en should be in there but honestly I couldn't find my goddamn DVD of it anywhere. Plus, got to leave one out otherwise there'd be nothing to talk about, right? Right? *cough*

nKutzler -> Quantum of Solace (19/11/2011 2:30:57 AM)

So people don't like this one as much because the name is too confusing, or something. But it might be my favorite Bond, and his chase of Mitchell is great. Chase through the sewers all the way through the streets and onto a bell tower? amazing.

adam.briggs -> Bottle Rocket (19/11/2011 5:48:44 AM)

Surely the scene from Bottle Rocket where Dignan is chased by the cops. With Rollings Stones '2000 Man' it's pretty gripping and emotional.

hauntbert -> Apocalypto (19/11/2011 6:36:40 AM)

The whole movie is a foot chase!

Kev2012 -> Death Sentence? (19/11/2011 7:22:44 AM)

Where's the chase through the car park from this? Whatever you think about the film (for the record, I think it's pretty good), it's a fantastic sequence.

GetToTheChoppa -> Where the hell is Seven? (19/11/2011 9:16:59 AM)

"Plus, got to leave one out otherwise there'd be nothing to talk about, right?"

You don't leave out Seven, that's nearly as bad as if you'd left out Point Break. Shocking!!!!

LeonardShelby -> Also (19/11/2011 10:39:52 AM)

The one in Insomnia between Pacino and Robin Williams is a underrated one.

DarthMaxxx -> Where's the Cruiser!?!?! (19/11/2011 11:11:47 AM)

Where the hell is Tom Cruise in all of this?
The man with the best run in Hollywood doesn't make your list, we could have had, Minority Report or Mission: Impossible 3 in there....

johnnyrox -> Texas Chainsaw Massacre (19/11/2011 1:55:51 PM)

....leatherface forest chase should be at number two at least?

rams -> (19/11/2011 2:06:58 PM)

No Tom Cruise movies?He does a lot of running in his movies(Minority Report,The Firm,Mission Impossible movies,etc).No Seven,Apocalypto,Death Sentence,Lethal weapon,Run Lola Run?

cobrakai -> The Secret In Their Eyes (19/11/2011 2:14:24 PM)

Wasn't there a brilliant chase inside the football stadium in this Argie masterpiece? I seem to recall their was, but was distracted by the incredible shot that preceeds it, with the camera sweeping in over Buenos Aires and into the stadium in the midst of a game.

_Adamski_ -> No Brick? (19/11/2011 3:04:21 PM)

I always though the foot chase in Brick, where Joseph Gordon-Levitt gets chased by a drug-dealer before tripping him into a lamp post, was pretty good.

DiscoNinja -> What about.... (19/11/2011 5:50:08 PM)

What about Apocalypto?? I really thought that'd be on here.

dm_imp -> Running Movie Montage (19/11/2011 11:07:09 PM)

Check this if you like foot chases... It has dozens of movies and a lot of Tom Cruise, of couse!

kierden -> Apocalypto (20/11/2011 3:57:35 PM)

How could you forget apocalypto?

BlackBaronUK -> (20/11/2011 8:51:12 PM)

You might be pleased to hear Tony Jaa isn't in the monkhood any more - he was there for a year (some Thai men choose to do this. Sort of like military service in some other countries). He's now making Tom Yum Goong 2 with Jeeja Yanin from 'Chocolate'!

JIm R -> RE: (20/11/2011 9:58:15 PM)

Point Break not in top ten, list invalid.

nKutzler -> (21/11/2011 4:14:35 AM)

Are the lists even ranked? it seems like the end of the list (with Point Break) may be top picks
"The king of all foot chases"

LouisV -> Chaser? (21/11/2011 9:04:25 AM)

What about the two excellent, "running-out-of-breath" foot chases from the South Korean serial killer film, "The Chaser"?

guysalisbury -> Se7en! (21/11/2011 9:22:54 AM)

Good shout people! I'm sure Minority report and MI3 should be on here too! Good list regardless.

alakabaz -> (21/11/2011 2:59:09 PM)

LOTR: The Two Towers??????

retrojam -> Run Lola Run (21/11/2011 11:23:29 PM)

or is that too "on the nose"?
