musht -> (11/10/2011 3:20:33 PM)

Looks great!!!!!! Very excited

burtbondy -> NIN (11/10/2011 3:24:50 PM)

Who exactly is the enemy? Thor's brother from Thor? Thats been done already. I just wanted to post- Ang Lee's Hulk is a brilliant film.

kieran -> Outstanding. (11/10/2011 3:25:32 PM)

Already one of the great lines : If we can't protect the earth, you can be damn sure we'll avenge it."

kieran -> RE: NIN (11/10/2011 3:26:33 PM)

Thank you, underrated film.

Y2Neildotcom -> Assemble! (11/10/2011 3:27:12 PM)

Love it, love it, love it! So darn excited!

I reckon the enemy are evil aliens from Space...that or Galactus...

azzman1984 -> RE: Assemble! (11/10/2011 3:37:02 PM)

Love it [:D] Looks a lot gritter than i thought but i love the NIN music in the background as well

hatebox -> (11/10/2011 3:45:43 PM)

Looks like it'll be like all other Marvel films: enjoyable at the time and difficult to remember a week later.

excelsior -> Some assembly required... (11/10/2011 3:51:49 PM)

Make no mistake, ladies and gentlemen, this movie will own the Summer 2012. Seeing Earth's Mightiest Heroes duking it out with a Skrull army, led by the Master of Mischief, makes my inner eight year old do back flips. The Thor/Cap fight (i'm almost certain) is nothing of the sort....one of them is a Skrull imposter!!

elab49 -> RE: (11/10/2011 3:53:19 PM)

I don't see the problem with using the best of the villains from the feeder films as the bad guy. I really enjoyed the trailer which was unexpected as Thor is the only one of the other's I had much time for. It'll be interesting to see Downey Jr's character without a shit scriptwriter, certainly.

Possible Spoiler

Given the add on bit at the end of Thor they'd already pretty much revealed that, hadn't they?

Rgirvan44 -> RE: RE: (11/10/2011 3:58:41 PM)

The avenge line doesn't make any sense.

Looks like every other Marvel movie but a few extra explosions.

elab49 -> RE: RE: (11/10/2011 4:04:24 PM)

But the other Marvel movies range from fun, bad to indifferent. Fingers crossed it'll be at the fun end.

The Dark Knight Rises will own 2012 - it will shit on this from a very great height.

elab49 -> RE: Some assembly required... (11/10/2011 4:10:29 PM)

Well, given the first two 'shit's a bit strong. But certainly there were aspects in both that were fairly bad. [8|]

Cyberleader -> (11/10/2011 4:11:13 PM)

It would be nice to see some truly great villians in it from the Marvel comics canon...Sheme they can't toss in a Spidey one. What about Dracula? Ok, maybe a far cry...But at this stage it's 'any ideas's at least an idea'...

Silvertouch -> Yawn (11/10/2011 4:18:43 PM)

Marketing wins again. Occasionally entertaining mediocrity is still mediocrity.

I do think next year with these two films we will be seeing the end of this era of superhero movies. Will be interesting to see where they go from here.

clarkkent -> (11/10/2011 4:19:59 PM)

Here's something for all the people complaining/whinging/naysaying. THIS IS THE FUCKING TEASER TRAILER.

As for the "Loki as a villain has been done", first i refer you to my previous statement, and second, THAT IS The Avenger's origin, it was Loki dicking around that bought the various heroes together.

er.... Man of Steel in 2013 perhaps ?

ronniem -> Ron (11/10/2011 4:33:50 PM)

Should be fun...but nothing memorable...Bring on Nolan's Bane!

Mr Grizzly -> More Hulk please! (11/10/2011 4:53:17 PM)

The city destruction looks a bit like Transformers, but you know, in a good way.

Can't wait to see some more decent footage, including the new hulk,

Whistler -> (11/10/2011 5:07:17 PM)

Looks badass.

sephiroth7 -> (11/10/2011 5:12:31 PM)

In Joss we trust.

Overmind -> RE: New Avengers Teaser Trailer (11/10/2011 5:13:23 PM)

I dont like hardrock in trailers......
..or any other popmusic...

rishi851 -> Good Lord. (11/10/2011 5:42:06 PM)

I am sick...sick of these superhero movies. They are redundant and stupid. What is worse is that they are usually categorized in the science fiction genre. This is not sci-fi. Sci-fi is thought provoking. 2001, Blade Runner and Solyaris are science fiction. Monkeys in suits are not.
and I've always wondered....
correct me if I am wrong but haven't these comics existed for a long time? As in since the 1930s and 40s?
So why is it that it is only now that we get bombarded with a Superhero film every other month? I know Superman was made in 1978 but the next one took some time to come. Nowadays you have a sequel/reboot/mash up coming out every year. This is the reason people have no attention span lately and artistic integrity and passion has given way to obsession with money and ineptitude.

jediboi67 -> Can. Not. Wait! (11/10/2011 5:51:17 PM)

Agree with the comment by Overmind re; hard rock music in trailers, and in Marvel films... The worst thing about Iron Man 2 was the AC/DC soundtrack! However, that gripe aside, I am SO looking forward to this!!! it's gonna clean up at the box office! And yes - In Joss we Trust!

Didsy -> RE: New Avengers Teaser Trailer (11/10/2011 6:07:28 PM)

A few avengers feature in this.....

A little off topic I know but thought I'd be a bit cheeky [&:]

We recently released this music video as an unsigned band. It's a superhero/comic book inspired idea. The whole video was self produced, the set was built from scratch, all the props and costumes, of which there are plenty are made by one guy! and in my opinion are quite something. Check out that black spider-man suit and the old school Hulk transformation.

I hope you like it................

mclane1 -> Joss will save the day (11/10/2011 6:13:03 PM)

it will be good- imagine all the good bits from capt america, thor, iron man etc. all rolled together with some buffy/angel/serenity humanity and humour. Its a winner and may be enough so to let Joss wheedon make more movies- serenity 2!

kisswithatear -> In Whedon We Trust. (11/10/2011 6:25:01 PM)

I was worried that the threat would not be large enough, how wrong was I!? Look at all those ominous explosions and deep scary talk from Loki! ... I don't know if I'm being sarcastic in typeface but I just can't imagine Thor's petulant brother causing the end of the Earth (New York... same thing...) and creating the big bad that needs to be "avenged". More footage please... All the same, if anyone can make a petulant brother a problem its Whedon. In fact any relationship problems coupled with action scenes is pretty much his game... In Whedon We Trust.

losthighway -> I'M IN!!! (11/10/2011 6:32:54 PM)

I LOVE NIN. I really liked Thor. I liked Whedon during his Buffy/Angel days and I don't mind a bit of Iron Man either. However, I got the shock of my life at the start of that trailer when I thought Transformers 4 had arrived early!! :/
