ORIGINAL: darth silas Star Treks First Contact,Insurrection, and Nemesis(Jerry Goldsmith) I know this isn't quite what you're looking for but there's recording sessions bootlegs of First Contact and Insurrection 'out there' that aren't too hard to find... Sound quality on both is superb, although obviously they still tend to be mp3s and I know that's an issue for some people. It's entirely possible that they'll receive official releases at some point - Wrath Of Kahn and Search For Spock both arrived with little fanfare, after all. The specialist soundtrack labels seem to work very much under the radar, so it's always nice when an elusive gem just appears without warning. BudBaxter: I hope Young Sherlock Holmes does get released again, the complete score is wonderful. A genuine edition of the Intrada set is hard to find, as there were only 500 of them pressed, and rumours suggesting that only about 100 of these were ever offered for general sale. Therefore, there's lots of fakes in circulation, hardly surprising as a sealed original can sell for upwards of $200. As usual, there are unofficial alternatives of recording sessions, with variations on the Intrada version and even a 4CD set. My own wishlist would feature an expanded edition of James Horner's Willow soundtrack. The CD edition is great but there's loads of music in the film that's never been available, even on bootleg or as a DVD rip. For the sake of completion, I wouldn't mind a complete version of Basil Poledouris's Conan The Destroyer either. Prometheus / Tadlow Music recently released a spectacular complete re-recording of Conan The Barbarian so maybe they could do the same for the sequel (I appreciate that it's very much a lesser work but some of it is pretty good).
