Travolta!? Why? He's hardly an action legend is he? Beyond Pulp Fiction and Face/Off I can't stand him. Chuck Norris shouldn't be in this either, as awesome as he is there is nothing Stallone can do that will top his cameo in Dodgeball. [:D]

Hopefully theres still a chance of getting Michael Jai White in the cast somewhere. I demand it!

Scott Adkins should have had the Jason Statham role from the start. I like Statham but always felt he was included in the cast because he was the OLNY action guy of the last few years or so. Rather than being the best. He was just the more well known. Sure I understand they gotta cast him over someone like Adkins due to name recognition but I think Adkins is more deserving of the title of old school action hero and should be up there with the rest of them. Statham always felt out of place for me at least.

IMO Scott Adkins wouldn't have nearly the same amount of chemistry with Stallone that Statham had. Those guys were a great pair together. I'd love to see Adkins in Expendables 2. He's an incredible martial artist. Love Ninja!

Well The Rock tweeted me and he said that he's doing the movie Snitch after he wraps up G.I. Joe 2 in December so in other words, u can count him out of appearing in Expendables 2 [:(]

I put The Expendables on the other night when it arrived from Love Film. Turned it off after 25 minutes because I thought it was so awful! A day passed and with nothing better to do I decided to pick up where I left off. Basically where the STATH is hanging out the front of a plane shooting... well, everything in sight and they blow that pier to shitting hell and back! Needless to say, from that point on I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank God I decided to put that disk back in [:D]

Will probably commit to the cinema for the second one! [:)]

Scott Adkins is comfirmed for the sequel along with JCVD (both actors are playing bad guys) and Chuck Norris, who is expected to have a small role. I'm made up about Adkins. Bout time he hit the big screen. The story is up at www.moviehole.net

On a sadder note, although I'm sure I'm the only person who'll be bothered, Charisma Carpenter will NOT be coming back.[:(]

I read an interview with Sly and he said the plot had changed. I guess not. Last I heard he's not in control of the screenplay anyway. Not sure I like the damnsel in distress shite. It's 2011 for peets sake![:@]

It sound shite. But it's from the studios site so I guess it's legit. It's too similar to the original with regards to the gal in jepordy. I thought, based off the first one, the sequel would have Sly's team going head to head with Arnies and Willi's being this big bad puppet master....and maybe Michelle Rodriguez being the token chick[:D] A guy can dream.

How about LInda Hamilton, Loren Avedon, Sonny Chiba, Mark Dacascos, Michael Dudikoff, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Kurt Russell, Ray Park, Peter Weller, Chow Yun Fat, Jason Scott Lee . Granted not all are 80's stars, or known specifically for action movies, but they've all had noticable (b-movie or otherwise) entries into the action/martial arts genre.
