John Hyams is another good shout. I'd say Paul Verhoeven is too high profile (still) to do a sequel like this IMO. John Hyams Renny Harlin or another name I'll throw in the mix: Isaac Florentine. He did great work on Ninja and Undisputed 3. Also Scott Mann who did a great job on The Tournament.

If they must have kids in it let them be the bad guy's team-and let the oldies kick their asses thanks to steroids. Weathers needs to be in it and anyone else still alive from Action Jackson. That long haired asian guy from Die Hard should be in it. And Robert Davi. Maybe Donner can direct via a bed with internet connection.

Sorry Snake but if u check a few posts upwards then u see that i already posted up the release date! Anyways i am gonna take a guess that shooting will start later in the year, maybe September/October time which will be perfect seem certain actors that Sly wants in the sequel will be available by that time.

The villains weren't nasty enough. I think it needed a scene near the end after they leave the island where Roberts' henchmen go after the girlfriend back in the US and Rourke gets the final kill with a knife throw to the groin and drools a one liner.

If Sly is smart which he is, after his performance in Fast Five Dwayne Johnson should be on the top of the list of people Sly should cast in Expendables 2, even Terry Crews himself said that Dwayne would be perfect to be in Expendables 2!!

Dwayne Johnson - Yes Cyril Rafaelli - Yes Scott Adkins - Yes Michael Jai White - Yes we also need Donnie Yen as has been mentioned, and John Cena would be a welcome addition. Kelly Hu is pretty hot in the action stakes as evidenced in The Tournament, and she's always welcome!
