I heard through the grapevine that Bob is looking forward to the remake of Shameless because William H Macy is one of his favourite actors. However, he was less enamoured with the recent remake of Skins and the mooted American revival of Spaced, commenting that "it was a fucking shit idea".

What Does The Title Mean? It is thought to refer to a porn video that John Lennon showed him of two Hamburg whores. "Do you want me to throw up into that camera" Dylan is reported to have said, before being told he was doing it wrong.

What Is The Cover Art? Bob Dylan has been replaced by Tom Baker from popular TV show Doctor Who on the cover. And it folded out so you can see Tom Bakers legs. This makes no sense on the Tape, iTunes or CD editions of the album. Lack of forsight there, Bobby.

Critic Says ""the sound of a man trying to stand up in a drunken boat, and, for the moment, succeeding. " - Greil Marcus. Yes, it is a bit like that. I can see what he's trying to say. But its better than standing up on a boat, isn't it?

Croaky Bob-O-Meter 5, a taste of honey, and grit.

Joni Mitchell Hates: the allusion to The D-Train which everyone thinks is about the R 'n' B duo but which is she knows is clearly a reference to Bob Dylan's penis.

Interesting Fact I've Made Up Related To This Album - Bob was so impressed with Tom Baker's ttime travelling skills, that he actually sent him to the future to find out how the songs went on this record, before they'd even been written, thus creating a Terminator style paradox.

Number Of References To Animals 5 - Fish, Mule, Scorpion, Dog and Cow. There is also a reference to Buck which may or may not be an allusion to a dog character from The Call of the Wind

What Is The Cover Art? It's Bob and some Native Americans. For some reason. I can't tell if Bob is wearing a sweet hat or not as it is the same colour as the tree behind him. How irresponsible.

Critic Says Gordon Mills for Rolling Stone, 1968: 'So, there is this semi-recognizable cat on the front of the album out there in the woods, looking like some friend of Baudelaire, way back in 1844 in "Le Vieux Quartier" of Paris with a few friends from inside the walls.' Don't be silly Gordon, Baudelaire died many years beforehand. He could never have possibly met Bob Dylan. Pfft.

Critic Says Arnold Muhren from Village Voice called it "the greatest record I've never heard". He called Let It Bleed "Let It Blrrd", as his finger went on the wrong button of the typewriter, and described the Beatles' Sgt Pepper as "seminal, in the bad way".
