CGI reveal:

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/vga-10-tba-game-2/708369

Been waiting for some news on this.  Doesn't show much (anything) but you get the general idea of the story.  Sounds good.
Think i read somewhere it uses a new engine, look forward to seeing that.

thepluginbaby -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (12/12/2010 4:40:38 AM)

Cannot wait for this. Assuming they've got a new engine and maybe a couple more voice actors.

Rod Hull -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (13/12/2010 8:14:10 PM)

Also looking forward to this. Hopefully it'll have the same open-world wow-factor that Oblvion had when you wandered out of the sewers for the first time. Of course after several hours of chatting to the same faces with the same voices it all got a bit repetitive. Whilst Fallout 3 struggled with an ageing engine, at least most people looked and sounded differently so hopefully Bethesda have learned their lessons.

Well met!

Chief -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (14/12/2010 8:42:30 AM)

As long as you can't get turned into a vampire I'll buy it.

borstal -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (15/12/2010 8:06:21 AM)

^

Either another brain dead spammer or one thats got a funny side. Trying to sell golfing equpiment on an Elder Scrolls thread [:D]

OK I may be pandering to stereotypes here but if theres one group of people Im expecting NOT to go outside and get some excercise its the RPG crowd. We all look like the guy of Southparks Warcraft episode right?......RIGHT?!

Yeti -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (15/12/2010 8:33:58 AM)

Callaway Diablos? Bloody rubbish. Affected my game no end.

Hang on. What? What is happening here?

borstal -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (15/12/2010 8:44:09 AM)

You can play golf in the next Elder Scrolls game.

borstal -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (15/12/2010 8:44:28 AM)

"Well hit"

Rob -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (15/12/2010 11:45:16 AM)

I loved Oblivion and so will be there for this. Hopefully the graphics engine will have been tweaked and as mentioned more than four voice actors.

BigKovacs -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (21/12/2010 10:40:07 AM)

I was just commenting on the normal Oblivion thread on this.

Bethesda generally tale critisism well and will hopefully do a good job on this. Oblivion and Fallout aren't for everyone but personally I love them and tend to jog on my work and family when new installments are released. I played Fallout 3 until I was a bit I'll and didn't complain.

thepluginbaby -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (19/1/2011 10:53:55 AM)

A couple of new details regarding Skyrim:

http://www.gameinformer.com/games/the_elder_scrolls_v_skyrim/b/xbox360/archive/2011/01/17/the-technology-behind-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim.aspx?PostPageIndex=1

Expect Mammoths.

kata -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (19/1/2011 12:27:13 PM)

Mammoth mounts?

Lovely stuff.

directorscut -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (19/1/2011 12:55:24 PM)

Some ambition stuff outlined there.  I can see the "radiant story" creating more bugs than a radioactive bug farm.

I just hope they improve the conversation system.  It was utter **** in Oblivion.

thepluginbaby -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (19/1/2011 3:21:07 PM)

I'd agree with that.

Walk into somebody's house, accidentally knock over a vase, the mage houseowner shouts 'cur' at you and starts launching a tirade of fireballs in your direction. His wife who was sitting quietly reading a book, gets up and summons a rock golem, which breaks even more stuff, meanwhile you bleed out on the floor wondering where it all went wrong... Sounds like a fantasy version of Kenan & Kel.

Your Funny Uncle -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (28/1/2011 8:41:25 AM)

Rob -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (24/2/2011 3:42:23 PM)

Good grief. That looks utterly fantastic. Well there goes another 100 hours of my life!

Rhubarb -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (24/2/2011 4:43:57 PM)

I don't really have the words for how amazing that trailer looks.

Your Funny Uncle -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (24/2/2011 5:01:48 PM)

I never did get round to finishing Oblivion (I still want to mind) but my word, I think I'm in love.....

WilliamMunny -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (24/2/2011 7:31:13 PM)

Bloody hell that looks good.

SWOTBM -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (24/2/2011 9:56:04 PM)

Yeah that trailer pretty much shits all over Dead Island.

Cannot wait for Skyrim, gonna be immense.

thepluginbaby -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (24/2/2011 10:45:22 PM)

In response to the new trailer?
JIZZ IN MY PANTS

DONOVAN KURTWOOD -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (25/2/2011 5:49:19 PM)

I want it now! It looks incredible, beautiful

Absolutely amazing. Not gonna spoil it but once they are out on the tundra my jaw dropped.

Scott_ -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (7/6/2011 2:13:46 PM)

Yep. I just creamed my pants.

I don't think my eyes can take Skyrim and Battlefield 3 in such a short space of time. I'll be spending hours running around slapping Mammoths.

MBeard -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (7/6/2011 2:43:15 PM)

I hope I fall in love with SkyRim and grow to hate it like I did Oblivion.

Peter Griffin -> RE: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (7/6/2011 4:33:55 PM)

I'll be buying a vibrator for the wife when this comes out because i'm not going to have time for sex.
