I thought the last film was superb. I am gagging for more, but at this rate we will get perhaps 3 films from this cew before it's time to press the Hollywood "reboot" button...

I just hope they do not go down the route of the Next Gen series and start giving us disconnected films that have no resounding impacts throughout the series. I loves the Original Film 'trilogy' of Wrath, Search, and Voyage - mainly because each film had an event that impacted on the story of the next film. But when you start introducing 'God' and slapstick humour into the mix, the appeal of the series wanes (IMO).

Star Trek was able to get away with this comedy vein due to Chris Pine, but I feel that a gritty, Alien-style 'chiller' would be a great sequel. Follow this with a balls-to-the-wall, Heat-in-space and you would have a fantastic closing chapter to this series ...

Although I loved the re-boot, the idea of time travel is not new to star trek, so lets hope there's a good story. We know the characters so concentrate on a great story........please.

i love star trek and if JJ Abrams wants to delay the film to make sure its good and enjoyable then i say let him :) the 1st film was awsome and i know he will make the next one better. :)

have to say star trek is 1 of only a few reboots that has worked and cannot wait. The only down side from the first is Uhura being the love interest of Spock

Super excited to see this and especially to see Cumberbatch's performance. I've seen him on stage in Frankenstein and he's incredible.
