A beautiful, emotional documentary about the rise about one of the most important British bands of the past 20 years: Blur.
We see the band members, seperate from each other, talking about the history of the band (with old footage edited through it). At the same time, we see the progression of their come-back tour they did last year, with footage from the tourr that was a gigantic succes. With the highligh, at the end of the film, footage from one of their best ever shows: Glastonbury last year.
It`s not a traditional documentary in the way that we see some talking heads praising the hell out of each other. It`s not a rise-and-fall documentary but more a rise-and-rise-again documentary.
Highly recommended to the music lovers overall and lovers of Blur and Britpop (even though they don`t like that term themselves) especially.
8,3/10
