I'm really chuffed with this because I only started making wallpapers today and this is my 4th (and fave) one so far. [:)]

I used Paint Shop Pro7 - got a background pic that I liked, resized it to 800 x 600 pixels and recoloured it with a red hue, added another multi coloured layer and played about with the textures and transparency, added a recoloured 'Spike' piccie [sm=893obsessed-thumb.gif]and made that semi-transparent and then added the text, using a 'Buffy' font. 

It sounds more complicated that it really is! [;)]

It's from http://www.deviantart.com/. They've got a handy search where you can look for wallpaper sized pictures in different categories. There are some really amazing ones in there.
