This will amount to a wonderful cinematic opportunity wasted. The game is one of the most profoundly beautiful works of art ever produced and all signs point to the film being a tremendous waste of reel.

It actually genuinely aches and hurts me to see the way it's being handled (given to a writer whose only credit is some Street Fighter spin-off).

Such a wonderful opportunity likely wasted.

SOTC was absolutely minted as a game, not sure it can translate to the big screen the effort and struggle that the game produced, a profoundly moving experience which will be tarnished into an all action affair which the game was the polar opposite. Shame really.
