Picked up Far Cry 2 on the 360 for €45. Tesco were doing a 25% off all games and consoles till sunday, so seized the oppurtunity to pick it up. €45 roughly equates to just a little over Ł32 - so a bargain really. Happy days! [:)]

Yay, my Farcry 2 has been dispatched. May have taken a couple of weeks but got it for half price. Thats probably why it was out of stock! Would have prefered it on 360 but I suppose my PS3 needs love too.

Little Big Planet for Ł21.55 at littlewoods direct. "Go to LittlewoodsDirect.com, they currently have LBP for Ł27.60, but if its your first purchase from their use the code ZG240 and you get Ł10 off for spending over 25 quid. After delivery etc works out to be Ł21.55. If the code doesn't work (their having problems at mo) phone up, they told me once i receive my purchase they will credit back the Ł10 to my card". It's a week delivery though, so won't be sent at launch.

hey just a quick heads up.. went into town to buy a game...Woolies is doing GOW2 for Ł34.99.....BUT... they must have some 10% discounty bob thing going cos the lass rang it through as Ł31.50! (either that or she fell for my suave boyish good look). Also (and yes it gets better) this weeks special at Gamestation is Dead Space for Ł24.99!!! so I got both, (apols if this is old news). ps also gamestation have PES09 for 19.99

I wonder if the initial Ł19.99 price was a mistake! In my account it is still listed as Ł19.99 and it is supposedly being packed. EDIT Play delivered it, and it is a really fun game, full of customisation and different modes of play. The car editor is just as deep as Forza 2 surprisingly.

Blockbusters have Midnight Club:LA for 24.99 at the moment. Lots of 360 stuff in their 5 for Ł25 preowned bins, Assassins Creed is in it.

For any old-school gamers out there (well, previous gen anyway), I just got hold of a PS2 slimline console with Buzz Junior: Monster Rumble for Ł49.83 at my local Toys R Us. Was the one of the last two in stock as well, so I'd check your local stores as I'm assuming this deal has been available for a few days and just been snapped up! Not a great game, but an incredible price for the console alone nonetheless! I'll be trading the game/buzzers in for some Shin Megami Tensei goodness [:D]
