I'm enjoying it too. More than SF4. Apparently some new characters coming out soon. I'm a bit disappointed with with the SF characters. Would have liked to see more that aren't in SF4.

I've just bought it ...

Hoping I don't regret the purchase. I am fully expecting a new version to come out with the extra characters + costumes or whatever.

BUT at least I've picked it up for £16 rather than rushing to get MvsC3 for £35 ... FINGERS CROSSED the new characters are DLC.

The new characters are out July 31st. Paid DLC, will not be buying it. Haven't touched it in months. Been playing nothing but AE.

Yeah, its DLC. 12 characters for $20. Less than $2 per character. Seems reasonable.

EARLY days.

Quite a bit I like about it.

Though it will take quite a bit of getting used to.

Need to stop playing it like SF4 basically.

Though do wish the cross strike (counter) was easier to do. Well I've not done it at all for a start. There should be an easier combo breaker.

I noticed you were online playing this, I should have jumped in, probably the only chance I'll have to beat you is whilst neither of us know what we're doing.

Had a few games online, I like the way it will match your skill level. I did try playing against someone of a higher skill though and had the floor wiped with me. The Super-Art finishes seem easier than the SF4 equiv.

Well it's out for sure today. Played a mate who had them today but not managed to download myself.

Just when I wanted points Shop to made me reset my password and Xbox Live online did some security check and sent the details to an out of date email address. So I couldn't be bothered! I'll try again tomorrow.

The best thing about SFxT being a bit crap in the long run (game-changing Gems, Hugo's basic BnB doing 70% damage, hugely overpowered characters etc) is that everybody is going back to SSFIVAE2012 and really, really stepping their game up and experimenting with "lesser" characters.
Four years on and only now have we really started to fully understand all characters' full potential. Dan viable in tournaments? He is now.
I love SSFIVAE2012 so much.

I have noticed I do much better against people when I take Vega,

I always used to use Vega on the SNES but these days its all about Ryu/Ken/Akuma and nobody seems to be comfortable fighting Vega. I seem to be able to do his wall jump slash/suplex at will.

Vega is excellent. His standing Roundhouse is one of my favorite pokes in the game.

Marvel vs Capcom: Origins is out now on XBLA and PSN. Contains both Marvel Superheroes and MvC1.
Both aren't particularly good but will pick it up upon my return to the UK.

So anyone pick up any fighters in the sale?

As well as those I have been playing Guilty Gear X on PS2, I have to say its stunning. I'd never played a Guilty Gear game before but its so arcade-like with its huge sprites and thumping sounds. I have Guilty Gear X 2 as well but havent looked at it yet.
