Gotta be up at 6 tomorrow to get the train back to Cardiff for work, not even able to say bye to the family before I go.

In the eyes of society I've been an adult for 7 years, but I don't feel like it. It'll be weird when my mum eventually decides to sell this house.

Whenever I go home, I usually always have to leave really early before everyone is up. Bless her though, my mum always gets up to see me off and she lets me go in and kiss my brother (whos 15 but as long as he lives he is still young enough for a kiss from his sister!) before I go. I couldn't leave without being able to say goodbye.

Thanks. The past couple of weeks since learning the news has been horrible. I can still very clearly remember what I had to go through with my first op in December, and having to face it all again is just awful. I've honestly felt like I've been trapped in a nightmare. Every single time I've gone to sleep for the past couple of days I've had a dream about the op, or being back in hospital.

And the worst part is knowing that the operation is just the start. It's going to completely change my life, and not in a good way.

What's also really upsetting is that going through the first op, had really given me a new perspective on things. I was feeling so happy and so fortunate. And now this.

Ugh.

As said before hope everything goes well for you Sway.

I should really get to bed, have a 12 hour day with work tomorrow. Damn conference/team building day early in the morning then an extra hour of work on top of the usual shift as the conference is only down the road. [:(]

I agree. It finished off one of my grandmothers, my dad has his in remission, and then my Uncle on the other side gets it. It does not bode well for my genetics in avoiding it in the future,

I was looking for an old email from 2004 (luckily I found it) on my Mac, and I've started going through a few other emails throughout the years since.

I've so far seen emails from 5 social networking sites which no longer exist... [:o]

I did a similar thing a couple of months ago and found two emails from people who no longer exist. I burst into tears reading the first one - yes, his spelling was that bad.

Ah, but there were 8 seasons of Who's The Boss? which consisted of 196 episodes compared to only 93 eps of The Upper Hand.

I'm not really sure what my point is......93 is still far too many episodes.....

Indeed, my only memory of that show (except the fact it was based on the US one) is a scene where that McGann brother had his top off and women were 'wooooing' in the audience. They probably stole the laugh track to Who's The Boss too.

I did die, this is my ghost typing in reply to you. A bit ironic really as when I was alive I didn't believe in all that ghost bollocks.
