Athena's pretty bad-ass even if she does have owl shit on her shoulder from her totem animal. She's so bad-ass, in fact, she didn't bother being born in the usual fashion; she just sprang fully-formed from Zeus' forehead - and legend has it she's more powerful than her dad. Like the rest, however, she's angry and vengeful: she turned Arachne into a spider for daring to out-do Athena's own skills as a weaver. Despite being known as a virgin goddess, in the Percy Jackson series she's mother to his mate Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario).
