La vie on rose anyone?? The aging of Edith Piaf is remarkable, and the younger actress has the most amazing voice as well!!
~*~*~*~
Edith Piaf was played by the same actress (Marion Cotillard) in all stages of her life apart from when she was a little child. And her singing voice was dubbed to remastered original Edith Piaf recordings and an Edith Piaf impersonator, not the actress playing her.
Still, have to agree, the aging is amazing, surely one of the best biopic performances of all time. Read More

The Dutch movie Bride Flight (with a small role for Rutger Hauer) has some amazing age casting. Three women Ada (played by Karina Smulders and Pleuni Touw), Esther (played by Anna Drijver and Willeke van Ammelrooy) and Marjorie (played by Petra Laseur and Elise Schaap) each have a romantic encounter with Frank (Waldemar Torenstra and Rutger Hauer) in New Zealand over a period of 40 years. Great resemblances in looks and acting. Read More

I agree with ChrisCas. I have no idea how Vito Corleone being played by two of the greatest actors (well the greatest, and one very close) of all time in two of the greatest films of all time (again - the greatest and one very close) didn't make the cut!
I would also have had the pairing from Big as it was great to see a kid being played so well by an adult. Read More
