Heroism (heroineism?) is in her blood, since her mother (played in the movie by Carla Gugino) was the first Silk Spectre, one of the few female superheroes. She has little interest in carrying on in the family business and is rather happy to be out of it. But retired life is none too cheery either, with her relationship with Dr Manhattan falling apart and a dark secret in her mother's past coming back to haunt her. She's got a good line in withering put downs,wears her feminist views as tightly as her fighting garb and could totally kick your sorry arse.
