Rosalie Cullen
All the Cullens are described as having model good looks, but even by those standards Rosalie is something else. She was beautiful as a human too, a banker's daughter expected to marry for money - but her rich fiancé and his friends raped her and left her for dead - whereupon Carlisle Cullen turned her. She never chose to become a vampire, and has an undead chip on her shoulder as a result. She can also be ruthless: three days after her transformation to a vampire, she hunted down her rapists and killed them all, not even to drink their blood. She's shallow and vain, but perhaps not bad underneath.
