Empire shows that Jetfire and Arcee are in the movie - that's two new ones... so, why can't the transformers crashing into Egypt be Autobots? My thoughts on "overwhelming odds" are the fact that the Decepticons are bigger and badder (see Devastator) than the Autobots - overwhelming them with size and might as opposed to numbers. Whether Megatron is back or not is up to whether you believe Mr Bay or not, who stated that Prime's nemesis won't be in this movie. And the link to the new toys on a certain rival website may give one or two things away. I've counted 5 or 6 new autobots to add to the team. Anyhoo, I'm looking forward to this. One last thought. Could this be the death of Optimus Prime and the rise of Hot Rod A.K.A. Rodimus Prime? Read More

The trailer is good and all- but what on earth is with the language Empire authorised to describe each of the 22 available frames. 2 or 3 "fucks," a couple of "shits," and an array of "bastards" (who are no doubt fucking shitting themselves.)
Am I being a prude? Personally I don't think so. It's completely unnecessary. Perhaps the cool kids spunking their tightie-whities over transformers 2 think these sort of decriptions reflect their anticipation, but this is a popular site (reporting on an adaption of a cartoon of my youth) and one regularly visited by my kids, and I assume many others far from claissification as legal adults.
Yes they could look at porn, and the world's going to hell, anyway, but this is "Empire." What the fuck, guys?

This will obviously be a kick arse, loud as hell, destroy all things kinda film and im sure it will be the nuts. Its just the Autobots look to me like they are going be seriously out manned based on the number of new Decepticons. The Autobots get a 'female' recriut which im guessing won't be the biggest 'bot' of them all and another who is an 'old man' and he used to be a bad guy anyway. It's a good thing to bring in other bots ( the Good and the Bad ); But why more of the bad guys than the good? I can understand with fewer good bots, the conflict always looks grim. With Davastator in the mix, why not the dinobots or optimus-supreme. If Megatron is to be re-formated and bought back to fight... The autobots would last no longer than a snowball in the damm desert. Being Optimus not only the leader, He's like the most powerful bot from cybertron. And what's with Jetfire on a cane and old aged? Jetfire was once a decepticon, But was frozen for eons, only to awaken to becoming a autobot... A autobot with strength, heavy power, and intelligents. F**k all the haters.... If Devastator is in it, don't the Autobots often using the Dinobots to bring him down? Or would that be making things a bit silly? I seem to remember in the viral campaign for the first film, when you logged into the Section Seven pages there was some footage of what was clearly a mechanical dinosaur stepping on a car. Which, actually now I think about it, was a bit silly.

This trailer looks like we'll see where every bit of the budget was spent, but it doesn't look like it'll be as good as the first one. That film was really funny, this one looks like it could take itself too seriously. Its a Michael Bay film, we're just looking for entertainment here, but watching stuff blow up for 2 hours can bit a bit boring (how can i be saying this??). I just hope its as much fun as the first one....

This film has Devastator in it and will hopefully eradicate a lot of the, frankly, bullshit humour contained in the first. Don't get me wrong - I am a fan of the original, but on repeated viewings the human side of things does tend to grate, massively.
