22 Must Watch Movies From The Toronto Film Festival | The Master
The Master

Paul Thomas Anderson’s first movie since There Will Be Blood will have already played at Venice before hitting Yonge Street. But the Joaquin Phoenix / Philip Seymour Hoffman / Amy Adams drama-about-Scientology-that’s-not-about-Scientology-honest-guv should be one of the festival’s finest, bringing acting so intense it’s JAMMED THE CAPS LOCK.

When will we see it in the UK? November 9

Isn't Ryan Gosling's latest thriller 'The Place Beyond the Pines' screening? If so, why didn't it make the top 20 list? It's been attracting some seriously good reviews....My must see for 2013. More

A few of these should be good - I'm planning on seeing Looper and many more besides after reading this list. More

The article has the headline 22 films must watch but there are only 20? More

5 Great cast + great creative team = unexpected crap
Saw a special preview of "Seven Psychopaths" in New York yesterday, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. It starts out really well, then just degenerates into a huge, unfunny mess. It was like two different movies, neither of which was any good. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Just watch the brilliant "In Bruges" again More
