Blow The Roof
"I promise, I will never even think about going up in a tall building again." It's an understandable sentiment as Detective John McClane, pinned down between a roof wired with explosives and a helicopter sharp shooter, considers the only option left to him. With nowhere to go but down, McClane ties a fire hose securely around his waist and, before you can say "blow the roof", leaps over the edge as the top of the Nakatomi tower erupts into flame. The burning helicopter tumbles to the ground but McClane rides his impromptu bungee to safety, shooting out a window before swinging back inside.
