In the end it came down to three: Devon Michael, Michael Angarano (who went onto Red State and Haywire) and Lloyd whom Gurland first met when he was five and kept in mind for over two years. "There's a very intuitive gut feeling you get about that's the one," said Lucas in 1999. "With Jake, I just got that feeling."
