This Title Sequence
"I wanted to do an opening title sequence that was a throwback to the old days of Saul Bass, Maurice Binder and Pathe-Freleng to set the tone of the era that we were telling our story. I didn't want it to be like The Pink Panther which would have said that this would have been an all out comedy. Instead, I wanted it to be a little more esoteric in its design, a little more 2 dimensional. (Title designers) Kuntzel + Deygas did a wonderful job doing the initial cat and mouse chase in anime. And Johnny Williams, in the only time in his entire career, did a score in the idiom of progressive jazz." Steven Spielberg
