He Completed His College Degree... eventually.

Spielberg applied to attend that hotbed of nascent film talent, UCLA, three times during the 1960s, but was refused on each occasion due to the below average 'C' grade he'd received from Saratoga High School. However, the young filmmaker did manage to secure a place at Long Beach's California State University, only to drop out in 1968 to pursue his career in movies. Finally, in 2002 - some thirty-five years after he enrolled - Spielberg received a B.A. in Film Production and Electronic Arts. In a humourus twist, the orchestra played the Indiana Jones theme as Spielberg collected his scroll. At least now he might finally be able to get some work.
